But there are also many friends who do not agree with this, thinking that FuKang'an is actually a "fu blowing" with an aura, and the achievements in his life are not particularly brilliant. What is the real situation, let's look at his "pinnacle" Gorkha Battle.
3. The Battle of Gorkha
The pacification of Gorkha took place from 1790 to 1792, and it was the last battle of the Qianlong Emperor's "Ten Complete Martial Arts". At this time, the Qianlong Emperor was dying of old age, and Fu Kang'an was in his prime, and his thirties were definitely the golden years of a boy's meritorious service, so the level of this battle was also enough to show the true level of Fu Dashuai.
The so-called Gorkha is actually today's Nepal. The causes of the war are more complicated, this article will not be explained, let's just watch the performance of Marshal Falcon.
In 1791, the Gorkhas invaded Tibet, and in September, fu kang'an, the governor of Liangguang, was awarded the title of Grand General and led an army of 10,000 to Tibet.
Objectively speaking, the combat effectiveness of the Gurkhas is not strong, especially this kind of labor expedition over the mountains, from a strategic point of view, it is unlikely to win. Anyway, in Tibet, the Gurkhas were beaten up with a blue nose and a swollen face. By May 1792, the Gurkhas had been driven back to their homeland.
At this stage, in fact, it cannot be said that the command art of Marshal Fu, who occupies the full range of time, geography, people and advantages, and the soldiers who go out on the expedition are either Batulu or Sauron warriors, all of whom are the elite of the elite of the Qing army, and there are famous generals such as Highlander to assist, this battle is a proper rich war, and it is strange that it is not won.
Of course, the invasion of this kind of thing does not mean that you want to stop, on May 13, 1792, Marshal Fu began an expedition to Gorkha. However, the plot of this paragraph is not to cross the Himalayas, but to go south along the east bank of the Giron River and march into Gorkha by water. In fact, if you think about it, even if you are a professional mountaineer, climbing a peak of six or seven thousand meters above sea level, you have to lose half a life, in this case, it is needless to say that it is difficult to continue to fight, and it is estimated that it is difficult to set up camp.
The Gurkhas, whose daily military strength is only a few thousand, have never seen these tens of thousands of troops, especially the elite of the Qing Empire, and there are Highlander, Zhesenbao and other tough generals, in the battle of Resuo Bridge, Xiebulu, Dongjue Mountain, the Gurkha people were beaten again with blue noses and swollen faces. There was no way, in the field war, the Gurkhas at this time were really not opponents of the Manchu Qing.
Simply put, in the Battle of the Reso Bridge, although the Gurkhas were not good at fighting, they also knew how to destroy the Reso Bridge, so the two armies once formed a confrontation by the river. At this time, Hailancha came up with an idea: secretly ordered Amantai and others to cross the Green Mountain in the east, sneak across from the upper stream, and suddenly appear in front of the Gurkha people with strange soldiers, and as a result, the Gurkhas immediately scattered, and the Qing army occupied the Reso Bridge.
In this big war, if you want to say that you climb the mountain, in fact, a small number of elite soldiers have climbed this green mountain. This is really incomparable to the feats of Hannibal and Napoleon crossing the Alps.
After a series of victories, Fu Dashuai thought that he was simply zhuge Kongming reincarnated, and he also began to despise the Gurkhas, and his contempt soon brought himself a lesson.
But friends who have been to Nepal know that the mountain is densely forested, belongs to the "mountain tribe" system, naturally, Nepalese are also very good at mountain and jungle combat. As a result, one of Marshal Fu's troops was introduced into the mountain ambush circle, and the Gurkhas set fire on three sides, killing Taifei Ying'a, Amantai, Morgenbao, Yinggui, Zhang Zhankui and others. This was the Battle of Palangu, where the Qing army suffered heavy losses, and Marshal Fu was strong and solid to learn a lesson.
However, even so, as long as they avoid the mountains and jungles and directly attack the cities, Gurkha still has no way. Before the absolute disparity in national strength, the Gurkhas were no longer able to fight, and the main force of the Qing army approached the Gorkha capital of Kamandedu and could only ask for surrender.
Since then, Nepal has become a vassal state of the Qing Empire. This is the finale of Qianlong's "Ten Complete Martial Arts".
In fact, throughout the entire war, the reason why the results of the Battle of Gorkha are still acceptable is mainly due to the absolute disparity in strength between the two countries, and the performance of Marshal Fukang'an in this big war is not amazing.
Nevertheless, after returning to his division, Fu Kang'an was awarded the title of Wuyingdian University Scholar and was given the title of Duke of Zhongrui Jiayong.

In fact, looking closely at Fukang'an's several major achievements, Fukang's amazing works at the tactical level are really very few, and at best they can be regarded as decent.
In the words of Mr. Cai Dongfan, it is: "In the battle of Taiwan, Lai Hailancha fought bravely to be the first, broke the enemy in the first battle, and lifted the Siege of Zhuluo on the same day, rebelled against the party and seized the anger, and the chaos was put to peace." Translated, it is Highlander who is the lucky star of Fukang'an, and without the brave and fierce Highlander, Fukang's record is estimated to be at least halved. His intellect, apparently not particularly commensurate with his high-ranking officials.
It is precisely because of this that it will be rumored that Fu Kang'an is the illegitimate son of the Qianlong Emperor. However, this truth is really not easy to verify, yes and no, both between assumption and inference.
His life did reach the peak of his life in the era of the Qianlong Emperor, especially after his death, he was posthumously awarded the title of King of the County, which is a special honor that ordinary people can hardly reach. In this, of course, there is the credit for Fu Kang'an's own unremitting efforts, but in the same period, there are many people who work harder and have more outstanding merits than him, such as Ah Gui, Zhaohui and others, and the official lord is far inferior to Fu Kang'an. If there is no deliberate promotion by the Qianlong Emperor here, whether you believe it or not, I don't believe it anyway.
His honor also ended with the end of the Qianlong Emperor: after the Jiaqing Emperor succeeded to the throne, he did not recognize the dead Fukang'an in various ways: repeatedly denouncing Fukang'an's profligacy in the march, and even reducing Fukang'an's son from hereditary Belle to a shell in the thirteenth year of Jiaqing (1808).
There is a way that "the big wave of sand and sand begins to reach gold", and the honor that Fukang An relies on identity and fortune is doomed to be unreliable.
