The "Picture of the Prostitute of Wang Shu Palace" is considered to be the best picture of a lady in his life, and it is almost the most beautiful picture of a lady in the entire Ming Dynasty, or even in the entire Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Originally titled Mengshu Palace, commonly known as Four Beautiful Pictures, this painting is based on the court life of Wang Yan, the monarch of Shu after five generations, and the picture carefully depicts the appearance of four song and dance palace women. They stood tall, dressed in robes and wearing lotus crowns, waiting for the king to summon them.
In the picture, the palace ladies are slender and well-proportioned, with thin shoulders and slender waists. Pink peach cheeks, willow eyes cherry lips, sharp chin. On the basis of the makeup of the "Tang Makeup" ladies, combined with the aesthetic standards of the Ming Dynasty, on the forehead, the tip of the nose, and the chin, the "Three White Method" is used to open the face to enhance the three-dimensional sense of the face, making the characters more elegant and feminine.
