Liu Yun: I'm really a little confused when you ask this question, but I do the math... It's been almost 8 years! I remember that in 2013, when I was still in the all-games team, I was already a player in the Zhuoer echelon, and at that time I was already in a base with the first team, but I trained separately.
Reporter: At that time, your dream was to become a player in the first team of Wuhan Zall?
Liu Yun: Sure! I think every young player should be eager to enter the first team of the club, plus we are originally Hubei players, naturally hoping to take the first step in the professional football career in the hometown team.
Reporter: I remember that you are from Huangshi, Hubei Province, when did you come to Wuhan to play football?
Liu Yun: In fact, when I was in elementary school, I also came to Wuhan, that is, to participate in the "Wuhan Evening News Cup" football game for primary and secondary school students, and you know that Huangshi is very close to Wuhan. After graduating from primary school, it was just when the Wuhan Football Association formed the 1995 age group echelon, and I came to Wuhan, and since then I have been playing here, from the City Games, the National Games to entering the Wuhan Zhuoer team to play in the professional league.
Eight years of Career, setbacks are also growth
Reporter: Do you remember when you appeared for Wuhan Zall?
Liu Yun: The first time I played in the professional league was in the 2015 season, I played as a substitute against Tianjin Songjiang. The first start was also that season, at home against Shenzhen. Liu Yun: Yes. Although there were fewer opportunities to play in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, I have always been grateful for that time, and it is also a kind of precipitation for young players like me! For example, watching a game off the field, I will actually think about how I would deal with it if I changed it... The other thing is that I have more time to practice the basics, especially free kicks. There is also physical confrontation, how to use the body reasonably in the game. Now it seems that the precipitation of those years is very important to me.

Liu Yun: In the 2019 away game against Evergrande, I scored a goal in the second half, and then we held out until the end, beating that strong opponent 1:0. Liu Yun: The 2020 season was really bumpy for us. Reporter: Looking back, since joining this team at the age of 18 and turning 26 this year, what weight do the words "Wuhan Zhuoer" have in your heart?
Liu Yun: As you said, I grew up here little by little, from a young player to a professional player, from a boy to a man, from being carried by big brothers to now need to take on more responsibilities, I have always regarded this place as my home. I would like to say that Wuhan Zhuoer is a very humane club, never hiding anything from us, and if there is any difficulty, everyone discusses and bears it together. As a player, after being here for so many years, I really feel very solid, I can concentrate on training and playing, and as for other aspects, the club will think for us. This feeling is very simple and warm.
Reporter: Now that you have renewed your contract with the club and will continue to play for Wuhan Zall, what is your goal next?
Liu Yun: First of all, I feel very honored to renew my contract with the club, and then I definitely hope that I can play well and help the team achieve better results in the Chinese Super League.
