While the total number of clean energy jobs in the Greater Boston area is expected to grow the most by 2030, adding nearly 12,300 jobs, the majority of jobs (61%) will be created outside of Highway 128

Cape Cod and the islands, as well as the Southeast, will see the greatest job growth

➤ 2,000 fossil workers are expected to lose their jobs by 2030 (580002 to 56,000), or a decrease of about 3.4%
