Actually, I live in Singapore now, and after I had a baby, I took my family over. So many years, it seems that there are still some people who don't know that I am Singaporean, so they still want to participate in local films. And Michelle is an old friend, and I love the first two plays she directed, and I believe in her abilities.

What do you think has changed zhuang Michelle the most over the years?

20 years ago, it was hard to imagine that Michelle would be so funny, nor did I think she would be a director. Life is really unknown. But she was very happy for her, after all, she was one of the few people who could do what she liked to do.

l What sparks are there when playing with Michelle Chuang?

Because many Singaporeans know the role of Lulu, and then I play the kind of suit man that everyone is familiar with, so this play will not feel abrupt when you watch it, and it will be very comfortable to watch. Although Michelle and I are not playing a pure love romance plot, in fact, it is good that there is not, otherwise we should have been laughing, haha. How do you think Zhuang Michelle is different from directing the film in private?

She was very serious when she directed, although she would be very relaxed in private chat, but I noticed that when she was a director, the pressure was quite high, so I admired her for having to act and direct. It's not easy to control a bunch of things.

l Always play the kind of noble prince role, what kind of role do you want to challenge?

I wanted to play a funny version of "James Bond", because since the audience likes to see me dressed up in a suit and handsome, but I like to be funny, so I put these two together!

Li William has a noble temperament, which makes people think that he is particularly stable, but in his bones he is still a child who does not want to compete. When is the most painful development abroad?

The most painful thing was when I first went to Taiwan, which was my first low, because it was very tiring to shoot 18 laughing and proud scenes a day, and I used to only speak English, so the language could not communicate, and there were no friends. The first year was sad and I wanted to give up. After the situation gradually adapted, I encountered a second low tide, that is, when I went to China to develop, now that I have been developing in China for 10 years, I can only say that although China is developing very well, the way of doing things there is another matter. The first two years of development there were very melancholy and really hard at first, so I really have to thank all the people around me who supported and helped me so that I could continue.

Why did you choose to stay in China in the end?

In fact, at that time, I had jobs in both Taiwan and China, and I occasionally had to go back to Singapore, so my heart was very tired. Really ran too many places. It was too big in the eyes during that time, didn't want to do anything, wanted to give up everything completely, haha. Later, the company also understood the situation, and since the workload in China was too large, it reduced the work in Taiwan, otherwise I would really go crazy. Another reason is that I'm very interested in movies, and being able to act in a Chinese movie almost every year has made me try a lot of different roles. So I stayed in China.

What are your goals for your career now? For example, to be a director like Michelle Chuang?

That's a lot of work, maybe if you're still single, you can be enthusiastic. After I got married and had children 2 years ago, I had no ambitions. When my wife was pregnant, I also thought about whether it would be wasteful, after all, at the peak of China, it was easy to go to a higher level, but when I had a child, I had to slow myself down. But after my daughter was born, I realized that it was not a choice at all, but a natural willingness to settle down for her. And these ten million years I think in the show business has achieved a lot of actors want to do, so there is no need to pursue the stars and moon, haha, at present I just want to spend more time with my family.
