Hongmeng cockpit is coming!
On October 22, at the Huawei Developer Conference, Huawei released a series of leading development technologies, tools, and platforms such as the latest HarmonyOS 3 Developer Preview and HMS Core 6 to help developers build innovative smart terminals and application services more efficiently. At the same time, Huawei also released the "four propositions and three commitments" of the consumer business security and privacy protection strategy, and worked with developers around the world to build a secure and reliable digital world.

At the conference, Yu Chengdong, managing director of Huawei, CEO of consumer business, and CEO of smart car solution BU, announced that the new medium-sized SUV cooperated by Huawei and Jinkang Cyres will be equipped with harmonyOS smart cockpit, and the new car will be released at the end of this year. The long-awaited Hongmeng intelligent cockpit is finally coming.

Huawei's entry into the automotive industry is serious. In the face of the previous rumors that Huawei wants to "build cars", through this developer conference, Huawei has once again issued a clear voice: Huawei's purpose is also very clear, Huawei wants to play a role as a "supplier" of all car companies in the automotive industry chain, and its main product is the Hongmeng intelligent cockpit.
Referring to the Hongmeng intelligent cockpit, Yu Chengdong said that Huawei has invested more than 50 billion yuan in the entire ecosystem of Hongmeng in the past three years, and will continue to maintain this volume of investment in the future.
Previously, Huawei released the previous generation of HarmonyOS car machine system, has 23 applications such as map navigation, music, short video, film and television, podcasts, weather, etc., which can meet the travel needs of most people.
The applications supported by the release of the latest HarmonyOS 3 system have increased geometrically, far exceeding other existing car systems.
It is worth mentioning that unlike the existing intelligent car operating system, HarmonyOS is an operating system for the Interconnection of Everything, and in Huawei's "1+8+N" strategic layout, smart cars will be one of the important terminals in the future intelligent ecosystem.
For the Internet of Everything, Hongmeng has three different system characteristics: 1, different devices, the same system; 2, different devices hardware mutual assistance, make full use of the hardware resources of different devices, the formation of a super terminal; 3, developers can develop at one time, multi-terminal deployment.
For example, mobile phones and car machines can often only be interconnected with some "low-level" bluetooth, Caryplay, CarLife, etc.: supported devices and applications are limited.
But in Huawei's definition, the intelligent cockpit car machine system is only one of the smart terminals equipped with the HarmonyOS system, Hongmeng's mobile phone screen projection function is almost "100% original screen", after the mobile phone screen is projected to the car machine screen, you can directly use all the mobile phones in the car machine system App, equivalent to the car machine to obtain the full ecology of the mobile phone, and other Huawei smart terminals, can also be fully interconnected.
Of course, this is not just for the Hongmeng smart cockpit. In the HarmonyOS ecosystem built by Huawei, the Internet of Everything realizes simple and humanized development such as seamless circulation in functions, greatly simplifying the development process for developers, and easily adapting mobile phones, smart wearable devices, and smart homes to develop at one time. In just three years, the number of devices powered by HarmonyOS has reached a staggering 150 million, which provides ample room for HarmonyOS developers to play. The intelligent ecology built by HarmonyOS will also become a powerful guarantee for the continuous evolution of Hongmeng intelligent cockpit.
Huawei's layout in the automotive field is far more simple than the HarmonyOS car-machine system. From lidar, 4D imaging radar and other perception hardware to intelligent driving overall solutions, from AR-HUD, HMS for Car terminal cloud services to Hongmeng intelligent cockpit, and even motors, heat pumps, charging modules, etc., Huawei is moving towards the new blue ocean market step by step.
<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > intelligent electric</h1>
In the field of energy, the core technology mastered by Huawei can be said to be at the forefront of global technology. Friends who have paid attention to the news recently may notice that Huawei and Shandong Third Power Construction Third Engineering Co., Ltd. have successfully signed the world's largest off-grid energy storage project - Saudi Arabia's Red Sea New City Energy Storage Project, with an energy storage scale of up to 1300MWh, which will use the intelligent string energy storage solution released by Huawei in March this year.
The layout of intelligent electric projects in the automotive field is also reasonable for Huawei, and long-term deep ploughing in the energy field has also accumulated a lot of technology and experience for Huawei in terms of electronic control and temperature control.
After launching a number of new energy vehicle motors such as three-in-one and all-in-one electric drive systems, Huawei released the world's first new electric drive system using intelligent oil cooling technology for electric motors at the end of last year. Compared with water cooling, Huawei's original motor intelligent oil cooling technology can reduce the average peak temperature of the winding by 30°C and the peak temperature of the magnet by 15°C. The life of oil-cooled motors can be doubled. In terms of charging, Huawei's HiCharger DC fast charging module supports a wide voltage output range of 200V-1000V, adopts the industry-leading full filling and full isolation process, and has an annual failure rate of less than 0.2%. The on-board charging system equipped with new energy vehicles integrates on-board chargers (OBC) and voltage converters (DC/DC), which can be flexibly adapted to different new energy vehicle products.
< h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > concluding remarks</h1>
The rapid development of the Hongmeng ecosystem has allowed everyone to see the power of huawei ecosystem, and the car, as an item closely related to people's lives, will inevitably have a great impact on the current automobile market with the arrival of Huawei's Hongmeng smart cockpit. With the advent of automobile electrification, at this event, Uncle Zhong was surprised by Huawei's "all-encompassing" layout in the automotive field, but also realized the importance of electrification, intelligence, and networking in the car, and HarmonyOS has brought great improvements to the user experience of intelligentization and networking in the automotive industry.
