Jiangxi inspected and detected 18 batches of safety-safe foods, involving biotoxins and illegal use of additives

Pay attention to food safety and stay away from health hazards

The Food Safety Supervision Department of Jiangxi Province organized food safety sampling and testing operations, and conducted supervision and sampling inspection of 7 major categories of food, including grain processed products, edible agricultural products, alcohol, meat products and beverages, catering food, edible oil and grease and their products, and a total of 690 batches of food. The results showed that 965 batches were qualified and 18 batches were unqualified. The information and sampling of unqualified foods are as follows:

1. Millet pepper and cadmium (measured in Cd, measured value: 0.18mg/kg, the value specified in the relevant national food safety standards ≤0.05mg/kg) operated and sold by Yichun Leshou Special Supermarket does not meet the provisions of the national food safety standards;

Cadmium (in terms of Cd) is an accumulative heavy metal element that can enter the human body through the food chain. Long-term consumption of foods with cadmium exceeding the standard may cause damage to the human kidneys and liver, but also affect the immune system, and may even damage the higher neural activity of children. The National Standard for Food Safety (GB 2762-2017) stipulates that cadmium (in terms of Cd) has a limit value of 0.05mg/kg in crabs, fresh vegetables (except leafy vegetables, legumes, root and tubers, stem vegetables, and broccoli). This sampling found that 1 batch of leeks and 1 batch of pepper samples had cadmium exceeding the standard, which may be cadmium elements enriched in the environment during their growth.

2. Soybean sprouts, sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate (measured in terms of 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid, measured value: 0.355mg/kg, the relevant national standards for food safety stipulate that "shall not be detected") do not meet the provisions of national food safety standards;

3. Yongfeng County Dahuifa Fortune Shopping Plaza operated and sold soybean sprouts (bulk), sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (measured in 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid, measured value: 0.056mg/kg, food safety relevant national standards stipulate that "can not be detected") does not meet the national food safety standards;

Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate, also known as anti-fallin, is an assortant, broad-spectrum, efficient, multi-functional plant growth regulator, mainly used to prevent falling flowers and fruits, inhibiting legumes from rooting, etc., and can regulate the balance of hormones in plant plants. Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate is a white needle-like or prismatic crystal, slightly phenolic taste, easily soluble in water, stable in nature, long-term storage without deterioration, and accumulated toxicity to the human body. The national food safety standard stipulates that producers shall not use substances such as sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate in the production process of bean sprouts, and bean sprout operators shall not operate bean sprouts containing sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate and other substances. Sodium 4-chlorophenoxyacetate detected in bean sprouts may be due to the illegal use of bean sprouts by producers during the production process in order to inhibit bean sprouts from rooting and increase bean sprout yields.

4. The white shell eggs (bulk) and sulfonamides (total amount, measured value: 779.94 μg/kg, the relevant national standards for food safety stipulate that "shall not be detected") operated and sold by Honglian Wangzhongwang Supermarket in Nanchang County do not meet the provisions of the national food safety standards;

Sulfonamides (total), sulfonamides have a wide antibacterial spectrum, stable nature, easy to use a class of synthetic antibacterial drugs, most of the gram-positive bacteria and negative bacteria have a strong inhibitory effect, widely used to prevent chicken coccidiosis. Long-term intake of animal foods with sulfonamides exceeding the standard may lead to health hazards such as urinary system and liver damage.

5. Gong pear (bulk), imidamine and imidamine manganese salt (measured value: 1.11mg/kg, 0.2mg/kg) specified in the relevant national standards for food safety do not meet the provisions of the national food safety standards for the operation and sale of Gong pear (bulk), imidaminamide and imidamine manganese salt (measured value: 0.2mg/kg) operated and sold by Xiaosheng Baihu convenience store in Ganxian District;

Imidamine and imidamine manganese salt is a fungicide composition, the active ingredient contains imidamine manganese salt and phenoxymethocyclazole, wherein the weight percentage of imidamin manganese salt and phenyleththicazole is 1 ~ 60:60 ~ 1, the active ingredient in the composition accounts for 1% to 80% of the total weight. The compositions of the present invention have a significantly higher efficacy than the effect of a single agent, the dosage is small, and the control spectrum is wide. It is used to control a variety of diseases on crops, especially suitable for the control of crop anthrax, black star disease, powdery mildew and so on.

6. Peanut rice (bulk) and aflatoxin B₁ (measured value: 42.6 μg/kg, the value specified in the relevant national standards for food safety ≤ 20 μg/kg) operated and sold by Xiaosheng Baihu convenience store in Ganxian District do not meet the provisions of the national food safety standards;

The national standard for food safety stipulates that the maximum limit value of aflatoxin B1 in peanuts and their products is 20 μg/kg. The reason why the detection value of aflatoxin B1 in peanut rice exceeds the standard may be that the raw materials used by production enterprises are contaminated by mold such as aflatoxin, or it may be that the sanitary conditions in the production and processing process are not strictly controlled, and it may also be related to the lax sealing of product packaging and improper control of storage and transportation conditions.

7. Poyang County beef fragrant spinning hot pot ChengtianFa Street store to make and sell fritters, aluminum residue (dry samples, in Al terms, measured value: 539mg / kg, food safety national standards stipulated value ≤ 100mg / kg) does not meet the national food safety standards;

The residual amount of aluminum (dry sample, measured in Al), aluminum-containing food additives, such as potassium aluminum sulfate (also known as potassium alum), ammonium aluminum sulfate (also known as ammonium alum), etc., are used as leavening agents and stabilizers in food, and aluminum residues will be generated after use. Aluminum-containing food additives will not cause harm to health when used according to standards, but long-term consumption of foods with aluminum exceeding standards will lead to a decline in exercise and learning and memory, affecting children's intellectual development. The reason why the residual amount of aluminum in the fritters exceeds the standard may be that individual enterprises use aluminum-containing additives in excess of the limit in the production and processing process in order to increase the taste of the product, or the aluminum content in the compound additives used is too high.

Coliform bacteria are one of the commonly used indicator bacteria for food contamination at home and abroad. Coliform bacteria detected in food suggest a greater likelihood of contamination by pathogenic bacteria (e.g., Salmonella, Shigella, pathogenic E. coli). If the coliform bacteria in the food are seriously exceeded, the nutritional composition of the food will be destroyed, and the food will lose its edible value; it will also accelerate the spoilage of the food, which may endanger human health. The National Standard for Food Safety Disinfectant Meal (Drink) Utensils (GB 14934-2016) stipulates that E. coli bacteria in reusable catering utensils shall not be detected. The reason for the detection of coliform bacteria in the reusable catering utensils may be the contamination of the processing raw materials and packaging materials of the product, or the pollution of the product by personnel, tools, etc. in the production process, or it may be caused by the incomplete sterilization of the sterilization process.

10. Tofu, benzoic acid and its sodium salt (measured in benzoic acid, measured value: 0.354g/kg, the relevant national standards for food safety stipulate that "shall not be used") operated and sold by Pingxiang Meisheng Jiahua Hotel Management Co., Ltd. do not meet the provisions of national food safety standards;

Benzoic acid and its sodium salt (in terms of benzoic acid), benzoic acid and its sodium salt are a kind of preservative commonly used in the food industry, which has a good inhibitory effect on mold, yeast and bacteria. Long-term consumption of benzoic acid and its sodium salt exceeding the standard of food, may cause liver accumulation poisoning, endangering liver health. The reason why the detection value of benzoic acid and its sodium salt (in terms of benzoic acid) in capers exceeds the standard may be that the production enterprise exceeds the limit of use in order to extend the shelf life of the product or make up for the poor sanitary conditions of the product production process; it may also be that it is not accurately measured during use.
