White-browed bird is a kind of forest bird that is occasionally seen in spring and summer, Nanjing bird friends like to call it a small egg yolk, it not only has bright plumage, gentle and melodious song, but also feeds on insects, which is a beneficial bird in the forest.
The feathers of this white-browed bird are bright yellow, very beautiful, and its beautiful song is gentle and melodious, flapping its wings.
It is often active alone or in pairs, mostly moving and feeding on the lower branches of the canopy, and often flying into the air to prey on flying insects. The main food is coleopterae insects such as tianniu family, adults of the genus Tianniu, kowtows, ladybirds, weevils, goldenrods and other coleoptera insects.
Originally in Siberia, Northeast China, North Korea and other places, wintering in Southeast Asia, it belongs to the transit bird in Nanjing, with the continuous improvement of the ecological environment in Nanjing, in recent years, the white-browed eagle has also settled in Nanjing.
In the spring and summer, it is the breeding season of the white-browed eagle, which is a typical secondary burrow, that is, it does not drill its own holes, but can use various tree holes to breed.
At this special stage of feeding the chicks, we see that this pair of white-browed birds are very, very attentive and industrious!
