Monaco sign former Magic small forward Dwyane Bacon

In Tuesday's UEFA Round 6 match, Monaco beat Red Star Belgrade 70-62 at home. Shortly after the game, Monaco announced the signing of small striker Dwayne Bacon, whose contract ends the season.

This year, Monaco made a good start to the Europa League, the top european basketball tournament, and they are currently in the middle of the table with 6-3 wins and 3 losses. Obviously, they are not satisfied with their current position. So they signed Dwyane Bacon, stepped up their firepower and continued to upgrade their lineup.

Dwyane Bacon, 26 years old, 2.01m tall, plays as a small striker. He was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 40th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and was traded to the Charlotte Hornets. Over the past four years, he has primarily played for the Hornets and Magic. He has played 207 games, averaging 19.4 minutes per game, contributing 7.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He has solid basic skills, experience, a relatively stable mid-range shooting ability, and is good at passing and attacking the basket to score.

Signing with Monaco is the first time Dwayne Bacon has left the United States to play. His technical characteristics are distinct, as long as he can adapt to the situation in Europe, I believe he can further enhance Monaco's strength.
