Westbound Diary D22 (2021/6/30, Wed): Mulei - Janbulak, 96 km
The weather is cloudy, the evening is windy and rainy, and the temperature is 12-27 °C
Yesterday afternoon came to Mulei, and parked at the "Mulei Caravan Station" in the evening.
Online Xinjiang Introduction: Mulei, a small city full of beauty and beauty, only 80,000 people in 20,000 square kilometers. The hometown of white peas in Tianshan Mountains, the hometown of Chickpeas in China, the production base of organic sheep in China, the hometown of Long-brow Camels in China, and the county with the most Kazakh embroidery women with "Vocational Qualification Certificate".

The Kazakh beauty who served us food at dinner yesterday afternoon secretly took a picture

The owner of the "Wooden Fortress Caravan Station" is very generous, free of charge to self-driving friends, and the electricity and water are free. After getting up in the morning to wash up, we were in no hurry to leave, boiled hot water and made a cup of coffee, eating the scones we bought yesterday, and also a good breakfast. We set up our bathing tents and soaked our feet in boiling hot water, and my wife washed our clothes and hung them on the car door to dry.
We sat in folding chairs eating apricots and waiting for our clothes to dry. The weather in the sunshine in Xinjiang is very hot, almost an hour dry. We bid farewell to the "caravan station", went to the city to forage for food, and prepared to eat lunch before leaving the wooden base.
After 11:00, we sat down at the Hong Mao Hotel near "Hehao Street" and ordered a grilled bun and two cups of meat in a jar. Grilled buns for 10 pieces, onion and lamb filling, cumin flavor, we only ate 5, packed 5 for tonight's dinner. The pot meat is stewed with lamb and carrots, the lamb is very fresh, the mutton soup is very delicious, it is a little salty. The food in the northwest and Xinjiang is a bit salty, and the locals may have a heavy taste!

Because it was not yet time for dinner, we waited for the waiter in the restaurant to eat a working meal, and about half an hour or so, the dishes we ordered came.
After eating local breakfast and lunch, we went to the nearby supermarket to buy drinking water, and Mulei is the home of chickpeas, and bought some chickpeas food. I bought some fruit at the fruit stall again.
Melons, peaches, apricots
After these supplies were purchased, after 12:00, we bid farewell to Mulei County and drove to the direction of Jiangbulak in Qitai County.
Sitting in the car, looking at the sky that is about to leave the wooden barrier, I found that the clouds in the sky today are beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't see such a sky yesterday at Bari kun lake, if it is like today, bari kun lake should be more beautiful.
After leaving the city, take the county road today. I didn't think that this county road scenery is very beautiful, this is the "global travel scenic greenway" created by Mulei County.

The car drove forward, and the scenery on the road became more and more beautiful. We parked in a wheat field that had just matured, and from the wheat field we looked out over the snow peaks on the peaks of the Dongtian Mountains in the distance, and the glacial snow that had not changed for thousands of years was clearly visible. We passed a field of sunflower flowers, freshly growing green flower trays with buds waiting to be placed.
Stop a few times on this country road and take pictures with your phone. All the photos today were taken by mobile phones.
After walking more than 30 kilometers, we turned into a country road to see the village of Rapeseed Valley, known as Xinjiang's Xanadu.
Rapeseed Ditch is a small village in Ingeborg Township, Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County, Xinjiang, located in a hollow valley north of Bogda Mountain, a branch of the Tianshan Mountains, 37 kilometers from the county seat of Mulei. Deep silence, ancient simplicity. Most of the villagers' ancestors moved from Shaanxi and Gansu in the Qing Dynasty; the houses are scattered on the slopes or ditches, and still maintain the architectural tradition of Han culture - dry-based earthen walls, earthen walls, brick-based adobe walls, and brick-clad adobe walls, reflecting the changes in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China so far. Villagers live in the sunrise on the ditch beams that maintain the original landform, and live a simple life, which is known as the "paradise" of Xinjiang.
The summer in Rapeseed Furrow is beautiful, and the wheat fields on the large undulating hillsides are blown by the wheat waves, indicating that another year of harvest is in sight.
In Rapeseed Valley, we also picked strawberries from a farmer's home that moved to Xinjiang from Gansu in 1961. The eldest brother's farm yard is full of strawberries, potatoes, and raspberries, and it's the season when strawberries ripen, and raspberries have to wait two months. The eldest brother let us eat it even though we picked it, and he helped us pick it. Although the strawberries are not large, we have eaten the strawberries that are watered with the Tianshan Mountains and have not been sprinkled with large potions, and the sweetest strawberries are the most original.
Leave the rapeseed ditch, continue to walk the country road, county road, not long to walk, the sky dark clouds gathered, soon will fall raindrops, until arriving at the Jiangbulak scenic spot, the rain is getting heavier and heavier, and the wind is also urgent, the temperature drops to 12 ° C, we quickly take out the storm jacket and put it on. This is the first time in 22 days since we traveled west that we have encountered such heavy rain. Although the weather forecast says today Jambulak is cloudy and there is no rain.
Today, from Mulei to Janbulak, 96 kilometers, all the way to stop and go, we spent more than 5 hours.
