Getting to know Ni Yangxing was purely a coincidence, a coincidence at the first Pujiang Calligraphy and Painting Festival at the end of the last century. He has read many of my articles, confessed his wrong love, remembered our name, was well-known and did not know people, heard people call me, and introduced himself and met me. Five years later, I was invited to the opening ceremony of a painting exhibition at the West Lake Art Museum in Hangzhou, where I met him and accepted his warm invitation to his home.

Ni Yangxing was born in a peasant family in Liping Village under chaohui Mountain, and has been farming for generations, and now lives in Caota Town to paint and make a living from painting. Tall, always showing a faint smile on his face, with a little bitter smile, treating people warmly, diligent in his deeds, speaking in words, a loud and thick Yuezhong rural voice, nearly fifty or so, known destiny. Since the reform and opening up, the living and creative environment of Chinese calligraphy and painting artists has been greatly improved compared with the 1950s and 1960s, and it can be said that in the past two decades, the life and creative environment of Chinese calligraphers and painters have been the best period in history. Ni Yangxing is no exception, he caught up with this good era.

As his master Kong Zhongqi said: "Immerse yourself in learning Huang Binhong's pen and ink shapes based on jiaomo, sumo, stained ink, accumulated ink and short dots, next to Yu Rentian, Stone Jug, and Shangxiang Shixi, sometimes there is a strange and remote and deep, thick and thick, or pen and ink absurdity without losing the artistic conception." Especially in the late autumn of last year, the exhibition of paintings held for him by Rong Baozhai on Nanshan Road in Hangzhou caused a good response in the Hangzhou painting world. Many predecessors and famous artists praised his talent and skill. This gave rise to some topics, the most concentrated one: society should pay more attention to him. But Ni Yangxing didn't seem to mind at all. The peers and news media who attended the meeting asked him to introduce himself, but he scratched his scalp and said: "If you want me to paint, I will draw seriously, and I can't talk about it!"
