Beidou satellite navigation system is a global satellite navigation system independently built and operated by China, and is an important national spatio-temporal infrastructure that provides all-weather, all-day, high-precision positioning, navigation and timing services for global users. As a major weapon of a big country that has a bearing on the national economy and the people's livelihood, it is a major national scientific and technological project of the Party Central Committee that focuses on the needs of China's national security and economic and social development and implements policy decisions. From the construction of the Beidou satellite navigation system to its widely used in economic and social life, the figure of Hunan people is very active, which fully reflects the role of Hunan as a heavy weapon of a big country.
In the construction of the Beidou system, a large number of Hunan aerospace leaders have emerged.
