Recently, Mr. Lu, a resident of Baoye Jing'an Ziyuan, Lane 356, Jiangning Road, told Xinmin Evening News that for many years, some high-rise owners of Building 5 have built sun rooms on the platform, bringing safety hazards to the community.

On the morning of October 11, the reporter came to Baoye Jing'an Ziyuan. Under the guidance of resident Mr. Lu, the reporter first came to the 24th floor. Standing in the public corridor and looking out the window, on a row of platforms on the east side, there is a table and a few rattan chairs, and a wooden swing hangs on the side of the wall. Next to these furniture, a glass sun room is quite eye-catching: in the sun room, there are some clothes and towels to dry, and there are many miscellaneous items.

The reporter then looked up and saw that the same position on the 25th and 26th floors was also occupied by the sun room. The situation on the 26th floor is the most serious: the glass sun room occupies this part of the space of about 10 square meters. Mr. Lu said that when the entire building was built, the area was "reserved" on the 24th to 26th floors or intentionally or unintentionally, giving some owners the space to "violate".

However, some residents said that after the construction of the sun room, safety was not guaranteed. "In the unlikely event of a typhoon or other bad weather, it would be too dangerous if the glass fell directly from a place more than 20 stories high!" Others are concerned about fire hazards. "Once the 'Zhu Rong' is introduced, it may be directly implicated in the façade, and it will be a big disaster!"

Chengguan identified the stock as illegal construction

Subsequently, the staff of the relevant departments of Shimen Erlu Street and a number of urban management law enforcement team members came to the scene. A security captain said the property manager was not there and went out for training. After repeated confirmation by the urban management department to the property, it was learned that the area was the owner's "suite area". Because these glass houses are connected to the main body of the owner's house, the reporter and the staff cannot directly enter the interior of the glass house to view.

However, at the scene, a member of the Shimen Erlu Street Chengguan Law Enforcement Squadron told reporters that last year, when the chengguan used drones to explore the illegal buildings in the jurisdiction, it had found these three illegal glass houses, and identified them as illegal construction in stock and recorded in the library. "After a rough survey, the 3 sun rooms range from 8-10 square meters."
