New breakthroughs have been made in economic development
In the past five years, Gaogang has seized the opportunity to strengthen the investment attraction and project construction of agriculture and tourism. Promote the investment and settlement of 600 million yuan tiannong project, develop planting and breeding circular agriculture, and form a new agricultural production form integrating business leisure and agricultural tourism projects; promote the tiannong pig breeding project to speed up the land use approval procedures; sign a framework agreement with Fogang Wanmao Real Estate Co., Ltd. for the Fogang Guanyin Mountain Zigu Tourist Resort Project; assist Foli Precision Tool Company, Rensheng Foundry Company and other enterprises to complete industrial upgrading and transformation.
There has been a new upturn in agricultural development. At the end of 2020, Gaogang achieved a total agricultural output value of 335.21 million yuan, an increase of 35.36% over 2016. Successfully cultivated the brand of alpine sweet potato in Sanlian Village and sugar orange in Changjiang Village". For five consecutive years, the Alpine Sweet Potato Festival in Sanlian Village has been held to launch a brand of characteristic agricultural products.
The infrastructure has been newly upgraded. The Baishiwa to Yingde Xiashitai Highway in Gaogang Village was completed and opened to traffic, and 12 "Four Good Rural Roads" were built in the town, with a total of 16.221 kilometers. Continue to promote the construction of rural sewage treatment facilities, 80 natural villages to achieve rain and sewage diversion, towns and villages domestic sewage treatment rate reached 79%.
To promote the construction of new rural areas, more than 83% of the existing administrative villages in the town have reached the standard of clean and tidy villages, of which Baoshan Village has successfully applied for the provincial "Thousand Villages Demonstration, Ten Thousand Villages Rectification" project, and Zhongwu Natural Village has reached the acceptance standard of characteristic boutique villages. Solidly promote the construction of 9,000 mu of high-standard farmland and the improvement of 8,517 mu of barren land.

Vigorously promote the development of agricultural tourism
Zheng Congjun said that in the next five years, Gaogang Town will closely focus on the goal of building an "ecological development demonstration zone" in Fogang County, highlight the development orientation of "ecological town, tourism town, people's livelihood town, and industrial rich town", and make every effort to build Qingyuan and even a famous tourist town in the province.
It is necessary to give prominence to the main line of transformation and development. Optimize the layout of the agricultural industry, create a characteristic rural tourism brand, and strive to cultivate and expand the characteristic agricultural product brands such as "one village, one product, one town and one industry" such as alpine sweet potato and soybean planting. And strive to expand and renovate the provincial highway 252 line in the jurisdiction with the help of the province and city to improve traffic conditions.
Carefully lay out the spatial planning of "double axis and four districts" to further improve the planning level of the town market. Build a vertical and horizontal "dual axis". The longitudinal main axis runs along the provincial highway 252 line, running through the whole area of Gaogang Town, and will be built into a global tourism and rural revitalization scenic belt. The horizontal water axis along the Gaozhen Water, Yanling River and other rivers, relying on the governance of small and medium-sized river basins, to create a leisure waterfront landscape, will be built into a horizontal water axis Bidao.
