According to the British "Guardian" reported on the 26th, Hillary's long-term close aide Huma Abedin wrote in a new book that she had been sexually assaulted by a US senator. She herself "covered up" the incident until allegations against U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh years later awakened her memory.

Abedin makes this shocking claim in his memoir, "Both/And: a Life in Many Worlds," which will be published next week. In the book, Abeddin does not mention the name of the senator or his party, nor does it provide any other clues about his identity.

In the book, Abedin details her experiences working for Hillary Clinton, who was the first lady, secretary of state and presidential candidate, as well as the Senator of New York State, in detail.

Paragraphs in the book describe what happened shortly after Trump and his third wife, Melania, in Palm Beach, Florida, in January 2005, and after a Washington dinner in which only "a few senators and their aides" attended (Hillary did not go), Abedin wrote: "I ended up out with a senator, and soon we stopped in front of his building and he invited me in for coffee." As soon as I entered, he let me sit on the couch. ”

She wrote that the senator took off his coat and rolled up his sleeves to make coffee while the two continued to talk. "Then, in an instant, everything changed. He pounced on my right, put his left hand around my shoulder, kissed me, stuck his tongue into my mouth, and pushed me back onto the couch. I was so shocked that I pushed him away. I was just thinking about hoping that the last 10 seconds would be erased. ”

The senator seemed surprised, Abedin wrote, but apologized, saying he had "misunderstood" what she meant. She wrote that when she was considering how to leave "without causing a bad ending," the senator actually asked her if she wanted to stay. "Then I said something I would only say in my 20s — 'I'm sorry' — and walked out and tried to act as casual as possible."

Abedin wrote that she later maintained a friendly relationship with the senator, and she quickly "covered up this thing she wanted to forget" and succeeded in "completely" erasing it from her mind.

Then, in late 2018, Kavanaugh was nominated by Trump as a Supreme Court justice, and University Professor Christine Blasey Ford accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a party years ago, a charge Kavanaugh denied.

Testifying in the U.S. Senate, Ford said the sexual assault "completely changed" her life. Before a psychotherapy in 2012, she had "done her best to suppress memories of sexual assault because telling the details would bring me back to that experience and trigger panic and anxiety."

Abedin wrote that when she read about Ford, her own memory of the senator's couch was triggered.
