author:CCTV News

According to a REPORT by CBS on the 26th local time, multiple law enforcement sources confirmed that a white male resident of Nashville was a suspect in the bombing, and this person may have died in the explosion.

CBS reported that the suspect, named Anthony Quinn Warner, 63, was a local Nashville resident. However, he may have died in the explosion, and investigators are conducting DNA tests on the remains found at the blast site. The report also said that the suspect owned a vehicle similar to the car involved. FBI personnel have conducted a search of his residence.

In addition, the FBI said there was no indication of other bombing threats; investigators have received about 500 wire reports so far, but still have no inferences about the case. The suspect's motives are also unclear.

An explosion occurred in downtown Nashville, the capital of the southern state of Tennessee, on the morning of the 25th, causing 3 injuries and more than 40 shops damaged, and the police suspected that the explosion was a "deliberate act." Andrew McCabe, a former deputy director of the FBI, previously said in an interview with the US media that the FBI usually treats bombings of this scale as "possible terrorist acts" to investigate. He also said that since the explosion occurred at the scene of the police after the police received the alarm, he suspected that the explosion may have been aimed at the police.
