Recently, a man in the United States was sentenced to 90 days in prison for spitting at a man wearing a "MAGA", "Make America Great Again".
The Capitol Hill newspaper reported on Jan. 11 that the Florida man spat at a man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat at a South Florida restaurant.
Officials reportedly accepted a no-objection defense Thursday and convicted Matthias Ajple, 43, of assaulting Robert Youngblood, 67.
Surveillance footage of a restaurant in Vero Beach, Florida, showed Robert Yambulad wearing a "MAGA" hat at the time.
According to court documents obtained by Fortune Coast, Matthia Apple told Robert Yambulad, "You should go back to Russia..." then took off his hat and spat at him.
After spitting, Matthia Apple drove away, but Robert Yambulad took note of his license plate and handed it over to the authorities.
After his arrest, Matthia Apple said, "I just want to protect you because I support law enforcement." Trump's supporters are racist and I don't even care if I'm going to jail, it's really exciting. ”
Matthia Apple continued, "Moreover, I (43) have spent more time in this world than he (67), and he may feel good about himself. ”
In addition to the 90-day prison sentence, Matthia Apple must pay $155 in compensation to Robert Yambulad and receive a 72-hour supervised suspend.
