In the two years since the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone was launched, 73 institutional innovation achievements have been formed, and new breakthroughs have been made in the construction of water town living rooms, ecological environmental protection, free flow of elements and major project construction. Li Qiang came to the Yangtze River Delta Sustainable Development Research Institute jointly built by Tongji University in collaboration with relevant universities and research institutes, listened to the exploration of regional science and technology innovation collaboration mechanism, the construction of sustainable development science and technology innovation platform, low-carbon talent training, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and inspected the demonstration and application of cutting-edge low-carbon environmental protection technologies. Knowing that the institute actively explores a new mechanism for integrated scientific research and education cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta, and cooperates with benchmarking enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta to build an innovation and research and development center, and strives to form a number of leading and exemplary green low-carbon original technologies, Li Qiang said that it is necessary to closely follow the implementation of the carbon peak carbon neutrality goal, build a large platform for open cooperation, make good use of the new mechanism of collaborative innovation, stimulate the new momentum of green development, and truly transform the advantages of disciplines, talents and research into local development practices. As the first cross-border river and lake joint management project in the integrated demonstration zone, Qingpu District and Wujiang District of Suzhou City launched the implementation of Yuandang ecological shoreline remediation, and have now realized the restoration and penetration of 3.1 kilometers of ecological shoreline, creating a unique theme shoreline such as country flower sea, wetland scenery, scenic forest, entrance park and so on. Li Qiang inspected the progress of ecological shoreline restoration and functional improvement, and carefully inquired about the cross-border ecological joint protection and co-governance of the integrated demonstration area and the comprehensive treatment of the shoreline. He said that it is necessary to adhere to openness, convenience for the people, ecological low-carbon, inheritance of culture, fully combined with the existing terrain texture and resource elements for overall construction and overall improvement, and strive to create a place suitable for work, livability, pleasure and travel, so that the people can be closer, more suitable for rest, and fully feel the beauty of ecology. It is necessary to study and deepen the comprehensive management of cross-domain ecological shorelines, refine the replicable and generalizable institutional experience, and fully amplify the leading effect of the integrated demonstration zone.
The junction of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang is working together to create a "Jiangnan Courtyard, Water Town Living Room" that embodies the oriental artistic conception, accommodates a harmonious habitat, provides a good environment for recreation, and co-gathers an innovative environment, and concentrates on practicing and demonstrating the development concept of urban water symbiosis, vitality and regional sharing. Li Qiang climbed to the water town living room observation deck and listened to the relevant situation reports on the planning and construction of the water town living room, the Jiangnan Polder Model Area Project, and the Water Town Living Room Blue Ring Demonstration Section Project. Li Qiang said that it is necessary to set goals, increase efforts to grasp the attack and advance, adhere to a blueprint to manage the whole area, a platform management implementation, a main management development, a set of standard pipe quality, integrated system management governance, the "high-value" ecology, "the most Jiangnan" culture in the planning and construction of the water town living room, fully demonstrate the harmonious coexistence between man and nature, to create a practice of ecological green and high-quality development, a cross-border integration and innovation-led display area, a world-class water town habitat model leading area.
Shanghai municipal leaders also visited the planning exhibition hall of the integrated demonstration area located in the core area of the living room of the water town, and listened in detail to the institutional innovation achievements of the integrated demonstration area and the highlight projects such as ecological environmental protection, interconnection, innovative development, public services, and the key planning report of the integrated demonstration area. Li Qiang said that in the two years since the construction of the integrated demonstration zone was launched, it has closely followed the two keywords of integration and high quality, given full play to the role of the test field, taken solid steps in system exploration, accelerated the implementation of key projects, and continuously improved the feelings of the masses. It is necessary to further enhance the sense of urgency and consistent sense of responsibility of seizing the day, and solidly promote various strategic tasks with firmer determination, more pragmatic action, and stronger joint efforts, and make contributions for a long time, do good deeds, and truly turn the beautiful blueprint into reality.
