Kengo Ishiguro is a well-known Japanese writer, born in 1961 in Kanazawa, Japan, who has worked as a magazine reporter and editor, and has participated in the writing and editing of many books. He is the author of "Goodbye, Kelu", "Guide Dog Juana", "Guide Dog Trainer", "You Are Not Alone" and other best-selling books.
It is said that "Goodbye, Koru" is a biography of a puppy that the author took fifteen years to complete. In 2004, "Goodbye, Koru" was adapted to the screen by the famous Japanese Korean film director Choi Yang-il into the movie "Guide Dog Q", and was officially released in Japan on March 13 of that year.
