In September 2015, Hungarian journalist Petra Lazro deliberately tripped over a refugee father and daughter, and although Lazro later apologized and denied being racist, her television station fired her and ate the lawsuit.

The judge found Lazro to violate social norms and sentenced her to three years of probation.
She defended herself: she was carrying a camera to shoot, and suddenly hundreds of refugees broke through the police blockade, some of them rushed to her, she was scared, she felt attacked, had to protect herself, but the judge did not take her account.
Video at the time showed the father and daughter falling to the ground
