The content I am talking about today mainly involves Chen Shiduo's prescription drug system, and some of it is the content of the prescription formula, and then these two pieces are connected with the prescription drug treatment of andrology. First briefly talk about some of the situations of andrology, then talk about Chen Shiduo's prescription drug system, and finally talk about the prescription drug system, and talk a little about the combination ideas and methods of the prescription medicine of the Jingfang and the Qijing Eight Pulses.
Andrology is a relatively different small family. In fact, I was originally considered to be an internal medicine department, because of a variety of opportunities, involving gynecology and infertility, so it also involved andrology. In the past ten years, there have been more content involving andrology, so I will talk about andrology today. From the clinical point of view, in fact, 30% to 50% of andrological diseases involve the prostate, and about 20% to 30% belong to sexual dysfunction, and finally about 15% are infertile, and the remaining 5 to 10% are some other andrological diseases. So today we mainly focus on prostate and sexual function, and see what kind of methods the Jingfang and Chen Shiduo systems can learn from in this field.

First, Chen Shiduo prescription drug system
</h1>
Around 1996, I visited an old Chinese medicine doctor who retired from the Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Cao Xinzhi, to study chinese medicine gynecology. He saw more infertility at that time, so I followed him to learn more about infertility and gynecological diseases. The most important thing is that I learned the yin-yang ulnar pulse diagnosis method with him, and because of this, my pulse diagnosis level has improved by leaps and bounds. At that time, when I copied the prescription with him, I just thought that his prescription was more strange, from the combination of dosage and sexual taste, ups and downs, very different. About a year later, I read more prescription medicines from The Fu Qing lord and Chen Shiduo's system in the bookstore, and I realized that the drug system of Cao Xinzhi's old Chinese medicine and Chen Shiduo's system may have a certain origin. It's not that I haven't completely contacted Lord Fu Qing and Chen Shiduo's Fang, you see that there are also Fu Qing Lord's famous soups and soups in both places in the textbooks, which we have all come into contact with, but the dosage on the textbooks is very different from the Chen Shiduo system, so I didn't notice.
Here I would also like to state that I only learned a set of prescription medicine systems when I was teaching. However, in terms of medical science, I still use the changes in the innate state of the Qijing Eight Pulses and the Qi Heng Zhi Zhi Zhi to guide the use of prescription medicines, which is not exactly equivalent to Chen Shiduo's rational prescription medicine. Moreover, the use of my set of prescription drugs is matched with the set of yin and yang ulnar pulse diagnosis methods that I have undertaken, and many of them are through pulse diagnosis to prompt the use of prescription drugs. Chen Shiduo's prescription medicine system can be divided into two pieces, one is a relatively rough, three-dimensional five-element organ association dialectic, and the other is a more detailed organ meridian level dialectic method, which is a name of my master. At that time, Shi Cheng only said that it was the yin and yang pulse diagnosis method, but this pulse method was actually based on the ulnar part, which I had already publicly introduced a little bit in 2002.
By reading Chen Shiduo's book, or looking at the rules of his prescription medicine, in fact, we can't see many rules coming out, because his medication is based on medicine, and behind each medicine there are some principles that are not fully disclosed. For example, tonic kidney yang, that is, he said to supplement kidney fire, Bayan Tian, Shu Si Zi, Xian Ling Spleen, And Light Dayun are all tonic kidney yang, so when you use some prescription drugs such as Huolong Dan, how to distinguish the nuances of these medicines? Most of his yang remedies are combined with these herbs as the root of the formula, so there must be a profound truth behind the law of his synergistic superposition.
The characteristics of Chen Shiduo's prescription medicine are very distinct, for example, some of the drug doses are very large, and then some doses are obviously small; the second is based on supplementation, especially the method of kidney supplementation. Of course, he is divided into kidney water and kidney fire; the third, his medicinal taste is generally relatively small, generally based on three or four herbs to eight or nine herbs; fourth, his theory is very rigorous, including his last set of visceral meridian dialectics, very delicate, although it can not fully explain all his prescription medicine application rules and reasons. But he has his own set of medical theories to support his prescription use.
My teacher only talked about some laws about the eight pulses of the Qijing or the Qi Heng Zhi and Chen Shiduo's prescription medicine, which were used very well. I am still using it now, for nearly twenty years, and some of the medicines are not good enough, but I recognize the law, but I personally think that this set of theories we have passed out is incomplete and not very easy to express. It's okay for people who know to discuss it with each other, but it's not easy to write it out as a complete article, and many places are broken.
As far as Fang He Medicine is concerned, Chen Shiduo pays more attention to the root of medicine, especially the medicine that is close to the congenital state, and the dose will be particularly large. The word innate state, which I am not very good at explaining specifically, roughly means that it refers to the state of man in the matrix, not the state of air intercourse in the air. Drugs in the congenital state generally have a certain tonic effect. On the basis of this medicinal root, Chen Shiduo uses it overlapping according to innate medical theory. Regarding the system of the Eight Pulses of the QiJing and the Qi Heng Zhi, I have not yet been able to say it very precisely and very harmoniously. I can only say that the kidney tonic medicine he uses can basically replenish our brain, marrow, bone, and pulse, including qi and blood. This can be understood by everyone, such as cooked land, jujube peel, angelica, white peony, goji berries, these yin supplements, as well as Bayan tian, silk seeds, fairy spleen these yang tonic medicines, listed, everyone understands.
If there must be a popular metaphor, he is to refine the kidney supplement, and then connect with the five internal organs, but only the five organs and the human body in the mother's infant state of these drugs docking, other drugs involving the human body in the air, the acquired state, is not docked or rarely docked. I'm not going to talk about medical science today, it's not easy to talk about. We only describe this state, that is, the human body from the fertilized egg to the embryo, to become a baby, but the entire physiological and pathological state is within the mother, and all drugs only play a role in this state.
Second, use the four major hands, just like the pulse diagnosis
I personally use Chen Shiduo's innate prescription system mainly through four pieces, and I summarize the outline of these four large pointers. One is to observe the patient's mental will state; the second, the disease is probably based on the disease position of qi heng zhi and qi jing eight pulses, of course, including the general kidney deficiency state of Chinese medicine that I mentioned earlier. The type of disease can involve mental symptoms including some cardiac paresthesias, such as some symptoms such as trepidation, palpitations, and trance. If we want to make an analogy, we can connect it with the neuroendocrine piece, or more to be more prepared, the reproductive endocrine piece; third, by pulse diagnosis, by pulse changes to guide the use of prescription drugs. Fourth, when the treatment of long-term illness or other methods is not good, I will also consider the use of Chen Shiduo's prescription drug system to carry out specific treatment.
Regarding the third point, when I generally call the pulse, simply put, I generally grasp three, and organic fate can contact my panoramic pulse. This pulse can be simply summarized into three points: first, it is mainly manifested by the reduction of the velocity wave component of the panoramic pulse, that is, the pulse is relatively empty; second, the inch-mouth pulse diagnosis feels full and hard at first, but the gap in the change of pulse after the use of fingering or for a long time is very large. In addition, this pulse of great enrichment and large variation of the drop may also be obviously weak at the beginning; third, this sense of powerlessness and emptiness, that is, the sense of pressure and velocity waves, is obviously reduced, starting from the ruler. Moreover, relatively speaking, the renal yin deficiency is determined to be biased towards the left side of the ulnar pulse and the Guan ulnar pulse, and finally affects other pulses.
Let me give you a few examples of medicines. For example, cooked land, if I want to be sure to use the flavor of cooked land, under normal circumstances, I do not pay much attention to the tube body, the tube body can be very hard, it can also be soft. But there are two characteristics that I will pay attention to, one is that its contents are relatively empty. The word emptiness should be better understood, translated into panoramic pulse science is that its velocity wave component is significantly reduced, or it has a so-called sliding bubble and other finger feelings, and the inside of the sliding bubble is empty. For example, jujube peel, the typical jujube skin veins are loose, close to loose, and the boundaries are blurred. It is due to a significant reduction in the contents and a significant reduction in the pulsation of the supporting vasculature, resulting in a loose vascular, which is different from the veins of astragalus. At the same time, the composition of its content velocity waves is reduced very significantly.
In addition, let me cite two more yang tonic pills. For example, I use this medicine more, because it can almost replenish the pulse and can supplement the pulse, and at the same time there is a solid protection effect of the vein and the vein, it can shrink urine, astringent, and even stop the belt and protect the fetus, right? In fact, it can also treat excessive sweating. Then, the veins of the silk seed have a very obvious feature: the whole vein is low, and the pressure process of the pulse is not strong enough as we usually perceive. Note that there are two points, first, there is a collapse in the part, generally the ruler; the second is that the strength is insufficient, but the feeling of emptiness is not obvious. I will introduce another pulse of Bayan Heaven, the pulse corresponding to Bayan Heaven, the vasculature is also soft and large, but its strong and weak components and the composition of the velocity wave contents are insufficient, so it will be manifested as a large pulse, especially the ulnar vein, but it is not affected by force.
For the sake of everyone's understanding, I will recapitulate it. My use of Chen Shiduo's prescription medicine is mainly based on the kidney yin and yang deficiency, and the so-called phase fire. Second, we must pay attention to the regulation of the mind. In terms of tempering and fire, chen Shiduo has some special rules like tonifying kidney yin and kidney yang. Illustrate the use of several herbs. For example, tuning is mainly calamus, yuanzhi, jujube kernel, and cypress kernel. What about phasing fire? For example, the simple pericardial phase is cold, excluding the lack of heart, generally it is galangal and grass fruits to regulate. In terms of pericardial fire, the most used lotus heart and Xuan Ginseng are used, which is a rule of his medication. Then the fate of the fire, everyone is more familiar, is cinnamon. Others, such as deer antler velvet and antler cream, have similar effects. Of course, you can also increase the dosage of Bayan Tian and Shu Silk Seeds, which also have the effect of invigorating the life gate. Personally, I think that Bayan Tian has the effect of excitement and fire, that is to say, it has an effect on both the fire of the Gate of Life and the fire of the pericardium, and at the level of the five elements of internal organs, it is supplemented by the spleen and kidneys. The silk seed is biased towards the belt pulse and the dimensional pulse, which can collect and solidify the tangible and intangible essences of the human body. In addition, in fact, the appendage is often used to activate the fire, mainly to the fire of the door. Chen Shiduo's view of using appendages is different from Zhang Zhongjing's, and Chen Shiduo is mainly the role of starting fire.
Third, the application of Chen Shiduo's prescription drugs in the treatment of andrology
At present, there are not many people who really widely use Chen Shiduo's prescription medicine, including Taiyuan, Shanxi, and I have visited it. Although Fu Qingzhuo and Chen Shiduo's system should have a deep relationship with Shanxi, I heard that the Fu Qing-lord research association there did not specifically use this system. Take andrology, for example, prostate disease and sexual function. Prostate diseases are mainly chronic prostatitis (CP) and prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The basic mechanism of chronic prostatitis, some of which are easy to understand, are kidney deficiency, damp heat, and blood stasis. Prostatic hyperplasia is mainly kidney deficiency and blood stasis. If translated into the Qijing Eight Pulse System I mentioned earlier, prostatic hyperplasia is a typical Rendu stasis, rather than simple kidney deficiency and blood stasis, and chronic prostatitis is not very typical. Therefore, in the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia, we attach great importance to the two angles of kidney yin and kidney yang as its basic points, and then use drugs to dissolve stasis and dispersion to treat. Then depending on the symptoms, such as enuresis, or frequent urination, we will use some drugs that adjust the fire, and cinnamon or cumin for the fire. The pericardium is still used with the kind of medicines such as galangal and bayonne.
Chronic prostatitis, we divide it into five aspects from the symptoms, one is turbid urine, one is abnormal urination, one is pain, one is mental abnormality, and finally sexual dysfunction. In terms of urine turbidity, I rarely use Chen Shiduo's prescription medicine, and I do not use very much in terms of urinary pain, because there are several jingfang fangzi that are good, and some are also easy to use. Then in terms of pain, we have a little characteristic, focusing on complementarity, that is, Chen Shiduo's system, according to the Qijing Eight Pulses and Qi Heng Zhi Zhi determined the treatment method.
In terms of psychiatric symptoms, we also combined Chen Shiduo's special chapter on the diagnosis and treatment of fatigue, he has a chapter on the treatment of fatigue, palpitations, shyness, and insomnia, and we summarized some laws according to the prescription drugs and pathological laws in these four aspects. In particular, it should be emphasized that the use of this flavored medicine of white peony in insomnia. The correspondence between white peony and insomnia, I can talk about it separately here. White peony is the most important drug to adjust the yin dimension and yin seesaw vein, and when we use white peony to treat insomnia, we have a small trick, that is, to observe the patient's eyes. The circulation of the seesaw vein is to the canthus, the supervisor opens and closes, if the seesaw vein is damaged, the eye cannot be closed, which will cause the eyes to not be able to sleep. White peony is the most typical drug for the treatment of seesaw pulse and dimensional pulse, and other acidic drugs have similar effects, such as sour jujube kernels, but the effect of sour jujube kernels to supplement yin is stronger, as well as jujube peel, schisandra, wumei and so on.
The fifth symptom caused by prostatitis is abnormal sexual function, which happens to be a strong point of Chen Shiduo's prescription drug system. In addition to the foregoing, I personally mainly guide the use of Chen Shiduo's prescription drugs from the level of sex hormones and endocrinology mentioned in modern medicine. From the aspect of sex hormones to guide the determination of medication is more intuitive, the analogy is also very accurate. I just looked at the preparation materials I wrote, today's occasion is a bit unsuitable for talking about andrology sexual function, the time is also relatively tight, let's not talk about it for the time being.
Fourth, use the idea of jingfang
Now I'll talk about the Bible and andrology. My use of Jingfang is mainly based on a series of rational prescriptions about Teacher Hu Xishu compiled and published by Teacher Feng Shilun. Later, I also went to Teacher Feng to copy the square for a while.
Regarding Zhang Zhongjing's "Treatise on Typhoid Fever and Miscellaneous Diseases", there are too many discussions in ancient and modern times, and there are many methods used. Some people use many different factions and personal understandings when discussing specific medical cases to explore the use of the Scriptures. I think it's a matter of choice, and when it comes to learning and using the Sutra, what we actually have to do is a multiple choice question. Personally, I think that it is not necessarily the best to integrate all the jingfang schools together, and it seems that the structure is very delicate and mysterious, and it is not necessarily the best. Because the system based on Zhang Zhongjing's "Treatise on Typhoid Fever and Miscellaneous Diseases" and "Auxiliary Tips" is not necessarily very complete. So I personally feel that if we want to learn to use the Jing Fang now, we may have to take a relatively low standard to learn. Of course, low standards don't mean confusion. The requirement of this basis should be to be able to use Zhang Zhongjing's prescription medicine in its entirety, and the method used is relatively orderly and concise in combination with the entire article, such as at least the use of the Jingfang must have a positioning. For example, I think about it myself, everyone refers to it. If we say that this prescription drug system for the treatment of diseases is cut in a certain way, it is divided into general human reactions to diseases and specific reactions, including individual general responses to diseases and individual special reactions to specific diseases, which can be well displayed. Well, I think the Hu Pai promoted by Teacher Hu is still relatively concise and clear. His positioning is very clear, his six classics and eight principles can show the general response law of our human diseases, all diseases can respond according to the pattern of the six classics and eight principles, and then we can align this link for treatment. The individual differences of people are re-referenced in the process of opposing children.
In fact, I am also a miscellaneous scholar, but in the past ten years, especially after 2001 and 2002, I have deliberately used the original formula. Later, I still unconsciously cut into other ideas, I divided the jingfang into two large blocks, one is the square evidence method, that is, it has relatively fixed, repeatable evidence to guide the prescription drug, it has a relatively high repeatability, relatively fixed evidence and prescription drugs docking. Then there is another method is the pathogenesis method. The mechanism of illness is to take some random evidence to dock with prescription drugs. Logically speaking, the phenomenon contained in the pathogenesis method is greater than the fang evidence method, the fixed evidence is the fang evidence method, and the random evidence is the pathogenic method. In the middle of my personal use of the prescription, in terms of guiding the use of prescription drugs, pulse diagnosis still played a little role, especially in the treatment of manifestations, which played a relatively large role.
Then about the so-called fang evidence method and the disease mechanism method, I have made a cut of it, divided into two pieces, one is the elephant number use method, or called the elephant number six sutra eight gang hint method, it can not involve more specific and substantial pathology, only through the three yin and three yang and the eight gang rough hint to determine the positioning, the other is the substantive six jing eight gang hint method, combined with my pulse diagnosis, it has a specific sun disease pulse, there is a yin deficiency cold water drink pulse, yang ming dry hot pulse, Yang Ming solid solid solid pulse. When there are some hints like this, I think the specific use of the Six Classics and Eight Principles of Substance.
In addition, when I use the Jing Fang, I also use another idea more often, this idea is to dock with our Qijing Eight Pulses. This process was not deliberately formed by me, but was formed unconsciously in the process of using the Jing fang. Let me first talk about the simple, the docking of the meridian and the eight veins of the Qijing. When the Sutra and the Eight Pulses of the Qijing were docked, I used medicine as the root of the Fang to enlighten and use. For example, ephedra is connected with the Yang seesaw vein, of course, it must be used when there is water vapor on the Yang seesaw vein. The day before yesterday in the group, teacher Wu Xiongzhi specially listed all the effects of ephedra, but I think that all its roles must have a starting point, and the starting point of the role of ephedra is to stretch the Yang seesaw vein. Logically, the Yang Seesaw Vein is to be stretched. Once the yang stilt is abnormal, the pulse is closed, so there is a "but sleep" or an abnormality in the urethra, the extension is not extended, the contraction is not contracted, the opening is not opened, and the closed is not closed. Like pediatric enuresis, some elderly people's enuresis, including this so-called impotence, can use it. I'll elaborate on that when I have time. For example, the guizhi soup discussed yesterday, taking the whole prescription medicine, I personally tend to adjust the yangwei pulse of the guizhi. Teacher Wu Xiongzhi said that it was Ren Mai, but I think Ren Mai should be conjured. Even if it is said that it is a pulse, the pulse is also because the yang vein is empty, and the momentum caused by the wind and evil is in the middle. But Ren's pulse was far away. There is also the white peony I talked about earlier, which acts on the yin stilt and the yin vein.
<h1>Fifth, chronic prostatitis of the prescription use</h1>
Below, I will roughly talk about the impression of the use of chronic prostatitis.
Regarding urine turbidity, I do not use the Jing prescription to treat urine turbidity. Because some of the formulas have a good effect, such as Cheng Zhongling's qingxue to drink and detoxify the medicine, and now there are not many simple urine. As far as the disease of the whole prostate is concerned, acute prostatitis is less, and the acute attack of chronic prostatitis is more, and I think this uses a lot of chai hu. I generally do not use which formula very deliberately, most of the time try to be casual, but for the sake of observation, there is a period of time is deliberately used the original formula, through so many years of observation found that acute prostatitis or chronic prostatitis acute attack, the use of chai hu agent is very much.
For abnormal urination, I used to make a pair of cold and wet type Wulingshan and hot and humid pork soup. Biased towards cold and wet, I use Wulingshan. Biased towards hot, I use pigweed soup, the effect is OK. Of course, if there is a very obvious bladder irritation, I will also use Ba Zheng San, or Chen Shiduo's Fangzi, the effect is more satisfactory. There are mainly four large squares in the chai hu agent, small chai hu, large chai hu, chai gui dried ginger and chai gui long mu, and the use of chai gui long mu is also more important when neurological symptoms occur. I didn't add or subtract much, and later I would still add some dandelions, honeysuckle, and spoiled sauce, including another very important square, angelica mother-of-pearl bitter ginseng soup, which I often use together, and the effect is indeed OK.
Regarding the pain symptoms, as I said earlier, it belongs to blood stasis. My more common use is the blood stasis soup and the dangdang soup, as well as the peach core gas soup, but I do not use the original recipe, because some medicines are not necessarily matched. I'll just take a few squares. But I haven't used Cinnamon Poria Pills alone. We can imagine it by splicing it together, in fact, the use of more is the size of chai hu, or chai gui dried ginger closed to the soup and the blood soup such a square, I often add Wang Bu Liu Xing this flavor medicine, can be heavy dose. There is also Liu Jinu, this experience is actually Chen Shiduo's, when the pain is more severe, these two herbs can be added.
Regarding the treatment of neurological symptoms, including the treatment of a small number of sexual dysfunctions, I have learned from the experience of the Japanese in the use of jingfang. I have long seen a lot of Japanese Kampo treatments, and Wada Dongguo has an experience - using half-summer magnolia soup to treat some negative emotions, that is, more depressed emotions, using four reverse scatters to treat some of the more yang hyper-yang mood state diseases.
So what about shifting to therapeutic sexual function, I borrowed from Teacher Feng's experience. Generally, if there are no obvious yang or yin symptoms, such as phlegm wetness, water drinking, phlegm heat and other damp and hot symptoms, I will use four reverse scatter plus centipede and white tribulus, most of which have an effect. I will interject, in fact, the four inverse scattering and the eight veins of the Qijing are also related, and the four inverse scattering is to adjust the yin and yang seesaw veins. The seesaw vein master stretched, impotence is not stretched. I also use hemp with fine spice soup to treat impotence, some of the effect is OK, and the patient does not necessarily have oligo-yin symptoms. Sometimes it can be directly closed on the basis of the four reverse dispersions, and the hemp is used together, and some impotence that does not have any obvious indications can be combined, and this is the use of the jingfang for identifying diseases.
VI. Summary
Finally, I'll make a summary. I made a comparison between the two prescription drug systems of Jingfang and Chen Shiduo, jingfang is biased towards qi intercourse, that is, the diagnosis and treatment method of the state of people in the air, we can call it the acquired state, more use of laxative method; Chen Shiduo prescription drug system is a bias towards the maternal body of the causative state, we can refer to it as, the diagnosis and treatment method of the congenital state, more use of complementary methods. The complementarity of the two systems is very high, and when combined, it is also very complete. They have a crossover part, and this crossed part is the false proof. If we take the Chen Shiduo system, the part corresponding to the eight veins of the Qijing is the YangWei pulse, of course, it can also be the Dou Pulse. For the Chen Shiduo system, there is a lack of treatment for epidermal diseases or epigraphs, that is, the method of propaganda. Later, I combined the method of Xuantong with Chen Shiduo's supplementary method, which is also naturally used in clinical treatment, and I summarized it as the Qijing Eight Pulses Xuantong Method, in fact, Yang and Tang are such a principle.
