In order to conscientiously implement the "Opinions of the Sichuan Provincial Local History Work Office on Local History Serving Rural Revitalization", on October 29, 2020, Du Chengying, director of the Local History Office of the Dazhou Municipal People's Government, led a team to Maduguan Town, Xuanhan County, to investigate the work of local history serving rural revitalization.

Maduguan is named after the famous three kingdoms general Zhang Fei riding a horse to cross the Shaxi River at night, which has been an ancient town and famous town in eastern Sichuan, and was once a thoroughfare for the northern basin of Bashu to reach the Central Plains, and the historical and cultural relics are very rich. Madu was named after Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty in the eighteenth year, and in 750 AD, Langying County was placed in 217 years. Maduguan is an important birthplace of folk songs in eastern Sichuan, men and women of all ages can compose and sing with their mouths, enjoying the honor of "the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art, the hometown of Sichuan folk art (characteristic) culture, and the hometown of eastern Sichuan folk songs", and is the hometown of Li Yiruo, the author of the world famous song "Kangding Love Song", and the birthplace of the Bashan song "Su Erjie". The Maduguan Lychee Trail is also included in the Preparatory List of the United Nations World Heritage Centre.

The Xuanhan County Local History Compilation Center conscientiously implemented the "Opinions on Local History Serving Rural Revitalization" of the Provincial Local History Office, took the initiative, innovated and forged ahead, found the convergence point of the local history service rural revitalization strategy, and worked fruitfully.
