Searching for the "Savage"-Shennongjia Exploration Documentary 2-3: Find another corroboration that this thing may still exist
When we came to Fangxian County, speaking of "savages", Mr. Ren Xiaowen, editor-in-chief of Fangxian Daily, told me that Zhang Renhua, a reporter for their newspaper, had made a trip to the countryside for this matter. Zhang Renhua, 35 years old, looked like a very humble intellectual in the mountains, and enthusiastically gave me the photos he took at that time, the photos were a little blurry, and I could only see two footprints. It is also a very coincidence that before this, my friend and I happened to meet Mr. Wang Fangchen and Professor Yuan Zhenxin, the captain of our Shennongjia inspection in 1995, when they returned to Beijing, and they were all in a hurry to hurry, and there was no time to talk in detail.
Captain Wang told me that there were new discoveries.
Professor Yuan looked happy and said, "Find another left proof that this thing may still exist."
Later, Captain Wang told me that on the morning of September 25, at the intersection of Shennongjia, Baokang County, and FangXian Counties, Li Mou, a local young farmer, suddenly heard "a cry like a woman's wailing" on the mountain beam next to the cornfield outside the house. When he climbed up the hill, he saw a brown "wild man" walking towards him and yelling loudly. He said, "I was really scared at the time," and even forgot to turn on the camera, and immediately ran back. When he ran back to the township, told Yu Jun about the encounter with the "wild man", and then rushed back, the "wild man" was gone. Yu Jun immediately dialed a long-distance telephone and made a report to Professor Yuan Zhenxin.
Professor Yuan Zhenxin is the director of the Professional Committee of the Expedition of Exotic and Rare Animals of the China Association for Scientific Exploration, the former director of the Beijing Ape Man Site Museum, and more than 20 years ago, Professor Yuan led a team to track strange and rare animals in this area.
Yuan Zhenxin, Wang Fangchen and others immediately rushed to Shennongjia, and at this time they found the haunting place of strange and rare animals, collecting the hairs and footprints of strange and rare animals, the traces left by their butts when they sat down, and the remnants of the scene of eating corn.
On the way back from this expedition, Professor Yuan said to us by chance: At present, it seems that this thing should still exist.
This year, Another news I know about the appearance of "wild people" in Shennongjia was in the Shennongding area, and my friend Zhang Ouya, a reporter of Chutian Metropolis Daily, recorded: On August 18, a number of foreign tourists found strange animals that had been standing and walking in the Shennongjia forest area. It is said that at that time, "a strange animal with gray and black body, disheveled hair, and a height of 1.7 meters to 2 meters" was crossing a mountain road, and when it found the van that tourists were riding, it flashed to the side of the road at a very fast speed, and quickly crossed the slope and disappeared into the dense bamboo forest. Later, the forest district government organized personnel to measure the 5 clear and complete footprints, the footprint length was 32 cm, the front maximum width was 14 cm, the back maximum width was 9 cm, the front indentation was 5 cm deep, the back indentation was 2 cm deep, and the stride length was 90-120 cm. This time, tourists from Yichang and other places found that the "wild man" of the white water drift area is more than 3,000 meters above sea level, located in the watershed of the Yinyu River, the birthplace of shennong creek and the largest tributary of the Han River.
…………
It's a little strange that at the turn of the century, shennongjia "wild people" seem to be more frequent than ever.
In 2000, a reporter interviewed Yin Hongfa on the spot, and the following is the record of the interview:
Reporter: What did you do in the mountains that day?
Yin Hongfa: That day, I took my sickle and a small cloth bag to Qinglong Village to cut kudzu vines and pick some wild ones that day
Lentinula edodes. About two hours later, I came from home to Qinglong Village.
Reporter: Can you recall the time when you were fighting the wildlings?
Yin Hongfa: At that time, I was cutting kudzu vines when I suddenly heard a noise under my head. I thought someone else would come and cut down kudzu vines too, and I shouted, "Which one?" I jokingly shouted again, "Which one is coming for me?" No one said a word. I followed the sound and saw a large monster that could walk upright running very fast, running in my direction, about a dozen feet away. This red-haired monster, without clothes, I was immediately frightened.
I looked up and there was a very thick mulberry tree, and I wanted to climb up to it, but before I could do it, the big monster had already run up to me and held out its right arm to me, as if to hold me. I stood slightly higher and the monster stood lower. I turned with my hand on the mulberry tree, and the monster's hand reached to this side, and I turned to the other side. The monster's arms were long, but the tree was also thick, and as soon as I hid, the monster hugged the tree. I was young, and I could handle more than 150 kilograms of stuff. I thought about the scythe in my hand, I took the knife in my right hand, and grabbed the monster's long hair with my left hand and grabbed a handful of hair. I slammed the monster on the back with my scythe, as if hitting it 3 times, and the monster ran in the direction of it.
Reporter: What then?
Yin Hongfa: Then, I watched the monster run. It glanced back at me twice and waved its hand at me. Finally, I saw that the monster was gone, and I dared to run down. I remember running out of the forest and seeing the fields. At this time, I was suddenly "paralyzed" and lay on the ground for half a day, giving me a fright to "paralysis". Later, I tried to get up, picked up a wooden stick from the ground, and carried the stick home.
Reporter: How did you feel when you got home?
Yin Hongfa: After returning home, I lay in bed, I couldn't speak that day, I could only speak the next day, and I lay in bed for seven days, which was frightening and "paralyzed". Later, when someone asked me what was going on, I told me what I saw, and I said that I had caught a handful of hair, and this handful of hair was later taken away by two people.
Reporter: What kind of monster did you see?
Yin Hongfa: On the mountain, I stand tall, the monster stands low, and it is about the same height as me (Yin Hongfa is about 1.7 meters tall, reporter's note), the whole body is covered with red hair, the hair on the face is lighter, and the hair is very long.
Reporter: Is this monster male or female?
Yin Hongfa: The monster's chest is very high on the left and right sides, and it is estimated to be a mother.
Reporter: Have you ever seen an animal like a gorilla before?
Yin Hongfa: I've seen gorillas and other monkeys at the Beijing Zoo and other zoos, but none of the monsters I've seen have been the same. "I saw the savages 'laughing' faintly"
…… ……
In 1974, these situations were quickly reported to the central authorities step by step, and the relevant responsible persons of the central authorities issued instructions: Please send people to the Chinese Academy of Sciences to quickly send people to the field to investigate and understand the truth. At that time, Guo Xingxian, deputy director of the Biology Department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, organized an emergency meeting overnight, decided to mobilize all the relevant forces and research work available to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and sent three assistant researchers from Wang Song, Feng Zuojian, and Guo Qiang to the field to investigate and understand.
"In fact, we came to this conclusion 25 years ago," Mr. Feng said.
With a cloud of doubt, the investigation team returned to Beijing and threw themselves wholeheartedly into the identification of "wild man" Mao.
At that time, their "savage" hair identification results did not support the existence of "savages", and these two scientists later became important figures in the negative faction.
On the other side of the story, many parties still believe that this is a real fact.
Mr. Sun Xiqing, the person concerned, is a highly respected old cadre in Fang County. At that time, Mr. Sun Xiqing was a staff member of the county task force, and he recalled to this writer: At that time in 1974, he received a report from his colleague Guan Yulin that the masses on the bridge did not dare to do farm work because they were afraid of "human bears." After visiting the field on May 15 to understand it, he reported to Li Jian, the superior leader of the task force, who graduated from the History Department of Peking University and realized its value, and this was what happened later.
Mr. Sun Xiqing said: These discoverers are very generous, they are all simple peasants, and it is impossible to lie in personality, and there is no reason to lie. Moreover, in 1974, the class struggle was being vigorously grasped, and no one dared to speak indiscriminately to the organization.
Mr. Sun Xiqing is still a firm affirmer, he firmly believes that this thing exists, what is it? To be determined.
At first, Mr. Sun was reluctant to accept the author's interview, and then he reluctantly said it because of the faces of several local friends who accompanied me in the interview, but the old man became more and more excited the more he said it, and he refuted several arguments of the people's negative faction one by one, believing that these "scientists are not scientific" and it is difficult to justify them.
Mr. Li Jian, who was later the president of the Hubei Academy of Social Sciences, another important party, devoted his life's energy to the inspection of "wild people".
In 2000, Yin Hongfa, the direct party, had a surprising statement in an interview with reporters: "There is a sentence that I have never told the outside world about my fight with the wildlings." ”
The words are: "The savage still has a moon scar on his chest." - Yin Hongfa stressed: I have never said this to the outside world, not even my wife and children. Yin Hongfa described in detail the shape of the moon scar on the savage's chest: like a round mirror with hairs on it, shorter and thinner than the hairs elsewhere, and the scar was surrounded by white hairs. He revealed to reporters the physical characteristics of this wild man, which undoubtedly provided a reference for people to describe the characteristics of wild people, which was a great discovery in the field of wild examination. ——In the Shennongjia area, there has long been a legend about the savage "moon scar". It is said that if you want to kill a wild man, you must "cut" from the "moon scar". The claim provided by Yin Hongfa about the savage "moon scar" supports the above legend to some extent.
Speaking of this, Mr. Sun Xiqing said to me: I have never heard of such a statement before. He believes that this is unlikely, it may be that Yin Hongfa is old and a bit of nonsense.
