Recently, a calligraphy and painting work "Guxing Spring Morning", which is 7 meters long and 2.2 meters high, depicts the scenery of Gaoping's "early spring" with realistic brush and ink, was unveiled locally. This work, which condenses Gaoping's famous historical and cultural attractions with its geographical characteristics and style, has attracted widespread attention and praise in Gaoping.
Gaoping ancient name of The Heng clan and Changping, is the hometown of the Yan Emperor, the place where the Battle of Changping took place, the ancient Chinese museum, and the hometown of the Shangdang Zizi, with profound cultural accumulation and special historical heritage.
The author of "Gujian Chunzao" is Wei Jianguang, a 49-year-old painter from Gaoping, who was awarded the title of Top Ten Young Calligraphers in Shanxi Province in 2015, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the chairman of the Jincheng Young Calligraphers Association. His works have been exhibited or awarded in national and Shanxi provincial and Jincheng competitions, and have been collected by many collection institutions or individuals at home and abroad. In recent years, he has mainly engaged in the art of calligraphy and painting in Beijing and other places.
"This is the Seven Buddha Mountain, Dinglin Temple, this place is Kaihua Temple, the upper left is Gaoping Downtown, and the high-speed rail runs along the downtown area from north to south..." On August 18, in Gaoping Wei Jianguang's studio, the huge painting "Guxing Spring Morning" hanging on the wall made the tall studio look a little low. Wei Jianguang stood in front of the painting and explained to the visitors: "This painting mainly depicts the scenery of the main cultural attractions such as Seven Buddha Mountain, Daliangshan, Dinglin Temple, Mishan Reservoir, Qingyun Temple, Wolong Bay and Kaihua Temple in Gaoping City and the east. ”
Early spring, it means that the earth is revived, and all kinds of industries are waiting to be revived and full of vitality. The painting created by Wei Jianguang is mainly based on the deep and auspicious rui, and the trees are lush and vibrant. The distant peaks are stacked and the fog is cloudy.

He began to paint from the surrounding area of Dinglin Temple, and gradually pushed it around, taking the Seven Buddha Mountain Hiking Trail as the main vein, completing the theme creation of the Seven Buddha Mountain upwards, and then completing the Daliang Mountain and Gaoping Urban Area to the left, and finally painting the mountains, rivers, hills, reservoirs and villages in the eastern area of Gaoping, until the end of the Kaihua Temple of The Relic Mountain, and the scenery of the eastern part of Gaoping was exhausted.
Seven Buddha Mountain, at an altitude of 1220 meters, is the closest highest mountain to Gaoping City and the second highest peak in Gaoping, its top is the Seven Buddhas Temple, the foothills are Dinglin Ancient Temple, and there is a winding mountain path from Dinglin Temple to the top of the mountain. Its adjacent Daliang Mountain was the command center and grain storage place of the Zhao general Lianpo Town during the Warring States period, and there was a Lianpo Temple on top. On the right side of Seven Buddha Mountain is the eastern countryside of Gaoping, where Kaihua Temple, Qingyun Temple, Mishan Reservoir, WolongWan Reservoir, and Dadongcang River are gathered; while Gaoping City mainly adds high-speed rail, Century Avenue, Passenger Transport Center, Danhe River, Yandi Park, etc., and the new city echoes with ancient ruins.

According to his recollection, the work began in Beijing on January 6 this year and was completed on February 11 Chinese New Year's Eve, which lasted 37 days. "Every day, the work starts at 7:30 in the morning, rests at 12:00 p.m., and works at least 15 hours a day." Wei Jianguang sighed, "Now that I think about it, it is really not easy to paint this big painting. This painting still has many deficiencies and cannot be perfect, but the deep affection for the hometown is revealed in every stroke. ”
At the end of March, Wei Jianguang brought "Gu heng chun early" back to his hometown of Gaoping. The large and imposing paintings were admired by the visitors, and a friend suggested to him that he could simulate and copy a number of miniature versions of "Gu hyun Spring Morning" to suit the hanging of ordinary halls. Later, after returning to Beijing, he copied 50 paintings of "Gujian Spring Morning" by scanning and using rice paper quantitative simulation, and met the needs of different calligraphy and painting enthusiasts with various specifications and high-end picture frames.
It is reported that "Guxing Spring Morning" will be exhibited at the newly completed Gaoping Hotel. At present, Wei Jianguang is making preparations before the exhibition.
