The Ecological Science and Technology City is located in the area north of Xiyi Expressway and west of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, bordering Changzhou Wujin in the west, with a planned total area of about 38.1 square kilometers, and the core area is planned to extend from Renmin Road in the east to Luoyang Road in the west, to Yuanzhong Road - 312 National Road in the north, and to Luonan Avenue in the south, with a total area of 11.9 square kilometers. The main designers of each applicant institution elaborated on the team advantages and their understanding and conception of the planning and design of Wuxi Xianyan Lake Ecological Science and Technology City.
The successful holding of this project conference also marks the beginning of the international consulting planning and design process of "Wuxi Xianyan Lake Ecological Science and Technology City Strategic Planning and Conceptual Urban Design", and after 90 days, the applicant will submit the final plan results for review by experts.
The three shortlisted applicants are composed of a strong combination of well-known institutions at home and abroad, and after preliminary public bidding and expert review, they stand out from the fierce competition of the registered applicants, showing the characteristics of internationalization, diversification and professional integration, and have rich practical experience in domestic and foreign science and technology city planning, strategic planning and urban design.
