The Longhua Interchange to Zhangdian Junction section of National Highway 312, which is well known to Nanjing people as the Longhua to Zhangdian section of the Ninghe Expressway, communicates the Nanjing Jiangxinzhou Yangtze River Bridge and the Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge, connecting the Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway and the Shanghai-Rong Expressway, with a total length of 6.92 km and a design speed of 100 km/h. Among them, the Section from Jiangxinzhou Yangtze River Bridge to Longhua Interchange was opened to traffic at the end of last year and became part of the Rapid Ring Road around the city. Now the project is fully completed, marking another radial line in the northwest direction of the Nanjing Expressway network. According to reports, the project construction can not only release nearly 270 acres of space land resources under the bridge, but also further promote the organic connection between the north and south of Pukou Urban Area.
