On the same day, during the patrol of Jiang Mou, a border guard at the Suiyang Border Police Station, 3 wild boar cubs were found in a deep pit in the forest of the Erdao Forest, and after going forward to check, no traces of the surrounding sow and wild boar activity were found, and it was speculated that these wild boar cubs may have been separated from the female wild boar while running in the mountain forest.
Although it is April, but the mountain forest is still cold in spring, snow in some places has not yet melted, because of the fear of the danger of cold boar cubs at night, Jiang brought the wild boar cubs back to the duty station, called the police to request the police for rescue.
Yu Huiyong, deputy director of the police at the Suiyang Border Police Station, told reporters: "At about one o'clock in the afternoon of April 29, the police station received an alarm call, saying that 3 wild boar cubs were found in the mountains and they were almost gone. When we arrived at the scene, we found that the wild boar cub was relatively weak, and after taking it back to the police station, we built a nest for it and fed it some food. Next, we will continue to carry out care and hand over to the relevant departments for treatment in a timely manner. ”
It is understood that wild boar belongs to the "three haves" protected animals, and this species has been included in the "List of Beneficial Terrestrial Wild Animals Under National Protection or with Important Economic and Scientific Research Value" issued by the State Forestry Administration on August 1, 2000.
