It is said that this year's tea festival will open at the end of April and last until May Day. At this time, there will be many people going to Xinyang to play tea or business negotiations, I am very envious of these people, as a Xinyang person, I have not seen the spring scenery of my hometown for a long time.
I was born in Yuji Town, Shangcheng County, Xinyang City, and am currently working hard in Beijing, wandering for many years, and I have not personally experienced the spring of my hometown for a long time. But despite being away from the homeland for many years, the appearance of the hometown is still clearly engraved in the heart.
As a media person, I have always wanted to do something for my hometown, always pay attention to the development of my hometown, and do my best to contribute to the development of my hometown, introduce my hometown to more people with the pen in my hand, let more people know and understand my hometown, and provide more opportunities and platforms for the development of my hometown.
In the spring of March, the mountain light and water color of Xinyang also show a different beauty than usual.
The towering mountains of Kumgangtai, the clear water of the West River Gorge, the Red Army Caves of Liu Xiao'ao, the new rural communities of Liluo City... What a bright spring light!
Xinyang is a city of culture, as one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Xinyang not only has a Yu rhyme Chu style, but also a delicate and romantic Chu culture and a rugged atmosphere of the Central Plains culture.
In history, famous allusions such as Zilu Qingjin, Dead Sheep Repair, and Sima Guang Smashing Cylinders all come out of the sun, and also enjoy the reputation of the hometown of calligraphy, the hometown of song and dance, the hometown of overseas Chinese in the Central Plains, and the "Chinese and foreign architecture expo".
Xinyang is also an ecological city, a national ecological demonstration city, a national garden city, and an excellent tourist city in China, with the fragrance of tea, suitable for living and playing.
For a long time, we have firmly established the development concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", "gently place the city between mountains and rivers", do not sacrifice agriculture and food, ecology and environment, and do not harm the survival interests of future generations, and strive to promote the development of new urbanization, new industrialization and new agricultural modernization.

From Xinyang, I walked more than 160 kilometers east to Shangcheng County, which is my hometown.
"The scenery of the fog and the smoke and water border the north of Hubei, and the yunshan mountains of the building are quietly living in the south of Runan", Shangcheng County is bordered by Jinzhai County of Anhui Province in the east and Macheng County in Hubei Province in the south, because it belonged to Ruyang Road in Runing Province during the Yuan and Qing Dynasties, so there is this poem.
The highest peak of the Dabie Mountains, Jingangtai, is in Shangcheng County, and the Guanhe River originating in Huangbai Mountain flows through from south to north. Because of the pleasant geographical climate and rich species, especially medicinal materials, "Shang Orange Stem", "Shang Porcupine", Tianma and other prestigious, "Golden Dendrobium Dendrobium" was once a tribute, with "natural medicine storehouse", "Henan medicine town" reputation.
The culture of the mall is a major part of the culture of Xinyang.
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, shangcheng belonged to the land of Wuchu and had both northern and southern cultures. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the local style of learning was very strong, and there were many private schools in schools, and during the Ming Dynasty, the shopping mall ranked first in the county level in Henan in the past meetings and township examinations.
Shangcheng is famous for local drama and music, and locals like to express their emotions with song and dance, and are known as the "hometown of song and dance". The famous song "August Laurel Blossoms Everywhere" came from here, a song that became famous in the world.
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Shangcheng Song and Dance has been performed in Beijing many times, and the state leaders at that time also received all the actors in Huairen Hall.
"Flower Umbrella Dance" participated in the 7th World Youth Festival in Vienna and won the Silver Award. Many fine art, photography, and paper-cut works have also participated in national and overseas exhibitions.

Then, after walking to the southwest of the county town for a while, we will arrive at Yuji Town, which is where I was born and raised.
Like Xinyang City and Shangcheng County, Yuji Town is also a small town with a long history, called Longmenli in ancient times, because of the late Yuan Dynasty anti-Yuan generals Yu Puqing, Yu Siming father and son with descendants of the army defeated and settled here, so it was named Yujiaji. At the end of 1994, it was renamed Yuji Town.
Here the folk customs are simple, revere the ancestors, each clan in Yuji Town has a complete family tree, clearly records the family rules and family rules set by the ancestors, such as "loyal heirloom", "diligent and thrifty heirloom", "cultivation and reading heirloom", "poetry and book heirloom", etc., standardize everyone's behavior.
Simple, fresh, delicate and gentle characteristic folk songs, beautiful strings, cheerful rhythm of the palanquin head gong and drum, a variety of folk stories telling gods and ghosts, place names and customs, historical legends, and soft and delicate, euphemistic and lyrical Chaimen drum books, etc., are all brilliant achievements of the traditional culture of Yuji Town, which are still widely circulated.
The rich accumulation of history and humanities has become a unique advantage for the development of this land in the hometown, and at the same time, the superior geographical location has become another advantage for the development of the hometown in the new era.
Because it is located at the junction of the three provinces of Eyu and Anhui, in the wuhan economic circle, the Anhui River urban belt, the central plains economic zone and the State Council's "plan to promote the rise of the central region" of the hinterland of the Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Kowloon "two vertical" economic belt and the middle of the east and central population areas, is also the intersection of China's east and west, north and south crosses, is naturally a strategic place and transportation hub between the Jianghuai River and Han.
Today, with the help of extensive transportation, the development of the hometown is in an important period of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" construction, and in accordance with the overall layout of the "five-in-one" and the "four comprehensive" strategic layout, we are focusing on building a regional central city and an influential transportation, information and logistics hub in the country, making full use of the location advantage, actively integrating into the national strategy of the "Belt and Road", enhancing the momentum of accelerated development, and driving the rapid and high-quality development of the entire hometown area.
Therefore, in recent years, the economic and social development of the hometown has made remarkable progress, and the appearance of urban and rural areas has undergone earth-shaking changes, with strong strength, a better foundation and strong stamina.
Seize the opportunity of the construction of the Central Plains Economic Zone, be brave in the construction of the Zhongyuan Economic Zone, fully explore the advantages and potentials, further enhance the level of opening up, expand the space for external development, drive economic development, and strive to build a regional central city at the junction of the three provinces of Eyu and Anhui, a state-level comprehensive pilot zone for rural reform and development, a national comprehensive transportation hub and a modern logistics hub, and an important base for the central region to undertake the transfer of industries along the southeast coast.

As a wandering hometown wanderer, although I missed this spring in my hometown this year, in the face of the great new opportunity for national development, I believe that there are more new springs in my hometown, and I am waiting for me to bathe in the spring light to relieve homesickness.
