In January 1924, Yang Mingong, Wu Yuzhang, and Liao Jiaoping formally established the early Communist Organization of Sichuan, the Chinese Youth Communist Party (YC Group), in Yang Mingong's home, and formulated the group charter and founded the organ journal "Red Heart Review". From its inception to its discontinuation in October 1926, Red Heart Review lasted one year and five months and published 16 issues. During this period, many articles were published to publicize Marxism and scientific socialism, introduce the achievements of Soviet construction, and publicize anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism. The Red Heart Review has branches in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Wuhan, as well as china books and newspapers in Paris and Maruzan Bookstore in Tokyo. At the same time as founding the Red Heart Review, Wu Yuzhang and Yang Mingong also established the "Chengdu Socialist Research Association", also known as the "Marxist Research Society". In 1925, Wu Yuzhang became a member of the Communist Party of China through the introduction of Tong Yongsheng, a member of the Communist Party of China, and his former student Zhao Shiyan, who was then the head of the Beijing Prefectural Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Northern Regional Committee of the Communist Party of China. After Wu Yuzhang joined the party, he proposed that the Young Communist Party of China should be dissolved as soon as possible, and then recruit those who met the conditions to join the party according to the standards of the Constitution of the Communist Party of China. Thereafter, the Young Communist Party of China was dissolved.
