Johnnie Walker Princes Street, the eight-floor new visitor experience for the world’s best-selling Scotch whisky, has today been launched in the heart of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh.

Spent four and a half years preparing, Johnny King Street is the nucleus of Diageo's £185 million investment in Scotch Whisky Tourism, the largest single investment in scotch whisky tourism ever made

Against the backdrop of Edinburgh's iconic skyline, including the world-famous Edinburgh Castle, Diageo CEO Ivan Menezes and Johnny Ginja Prince Street Managing Director Barbara Smith raised the JohnnyGate flag marking the opening of the landmark building

Johnny Harvest Prince Street Visitor Experience:

Spanning more than 71,500 square feet, it elevates the concept of personalization to a level never before experienced by the world's Pinnacle visitors.

Visitors to the Johnnie Ghon Reaper Flavor Tour will tailor a wine to their personal flavour preferences.

With over 800 flavor combinations in the innovative distribution system, even if you visit Johnnie King Street once a day, you can get a different experience for more than two years.

The story of 200 years will be vividly interpreted by more than 150 diverse and talented new employees speaking 23 languages.

The cellar has become a true treasure trove of whisky, with some of the world's most unique whisky barrels slowly maturing, waiting for guests to taste.

Formerly a traditional department store with nearly 100 years of history, the building will house a state-of-the-art experiential retail space where shoppers can pick up rare and exclusive whiskies, fill their own wines and personalize them.

Johnny was awarded the Gold Award for Green Tourism from the very beginning of the opening of Prince Street, the highest honor for the sustainable development of tourist attractions. The complex includes roof terrace flowerpots that provide herbs for decoration and brewing wine, as well as sedum roof coverings and bird boxes to promote biodiversity.

On Prince Johnny's Street there are two world-class rooftop bars and a terrace with breathtaking views of the Edinburgh skyline, including the Explorers' Bothy Whisky Bar and 1820 Cocktail Bar, which serves 150 different whiskies, paired with a well-designed menu and each with its own culinary origins in Scotland

Johnnie King Street also offers its award-winning hospitality training courses for the unemployed at its Johnny Kingga Institute of Lifelong Learning, a building dedicated to contributing to the community and can also host events in a space that can accommodate up to 200 people
