On August 3, a reporter from Beijing Business Daily learned from Diageo's first half of 2021 financial report that as of June 30, Diageo's net sales increased by 16% to 12.7 billion pounds.
Meanwhile, the company's profits rose by 7.2% to £3.7 billion. In addition, premium and ultra-premium brands contributed nearly half of Diageo's net sales growth, including Johnnie Ginja, Cîroc vodka, Shuijingfang Baijiu and Tequila, all of which together increased sales by 35%.
Regionally, Diageo recovered revenue growth in all regions, with Asia Pacific up 14%.
