Under the guidance of the Pharmaceutical Administration Office of Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, sponsored by Shanghai Clinical Pharmaceutical Affairs Management Quality Control Center, jointly organized by Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University, Shanghai Tongji Hospital Medical Group Pharmaceutical (Discipline) Alliance, Shanghai Putuo District Medical Association Pharmacy Group, and co-organized by Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association Hospital Pharmacy Professional Committee, the 2021 Tongji Pharmaceutical Affairs Management Summit Forum and Geriatric Disease Whole-process Pharmacy Guardianship Study Class was held on May 5-9, 2021. The forum lasted for 5 days, invited 70 well-known expert speakers in the field of medicine and pharmacy across the country, focusing on the drug treatment of common chronic diseases such as hypertension, asthma, chronic cough, cerebral embolism and pharmacoeconomic research and fund declaration, etc., aiming to improve the ability of pharmacy services and deepen rational use of drugs, a total of 349 doctors and pharmacists participated in the forum.
On the morning of May 6th, Professor Liu Gaolin of Shanghai First People's Hospital served as the chairman and delivered a welcome speech. Professor Liu pointed out that with the increasing incidence, illness and death of chronic diseases, the pharmaceutical monitoring of patients with chronic diseases, especially elderly patients with chronic diseases, has put forward severe challenges, and the forum will focus on common chronic diseases and their pharmacological monitoring. Professor Liu's speech kicked off the forum and then entered the academic exchange session. The first half was presided over by Professor Zhang Jian of Shanghai Xinhua Hospital, Professor Xiong Tengbin of Chongqing Medical University explained the application of real-world data in pharmacoeconomic research, and Jiang Yuanying, dean of Tongji University, shared his experience in writing the application for the fund. The second half was presided over by Professor Liu Li of Shanghai Shuguang Hospital, Professor Lin Houwen of Shanghai Renji Hospital shared the experience of clinical pharmacy discipline construction and research-based clinical pharmacists in Renji Hospital, and Professor Fan Guorong of Shanghai First People's Hospital made a report on the treatment and management of geriatric chronic diseases based on pharmacokinetics technology.

On the afternoon of May 6, the launching ceremony of the 2021 Shanghai Rational Drug Use Publicity Month, the inaugural meeting of the Clinical Rational Drug Use Professional Committee of the Shanghai Medical Doctor Association and the academic report session were held. The meeting was chaired by Professor Liang Aibin, Vice President of Tongji Hospital, and co-chaired by Jin Chunlin, Director of Shanghai Health and Healthy Development Research Center, Professor Tan Ming, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, and Professor Zhong Mingkang of Huashan Hospital. In the conference report session, Academician Chen Yihan, Vice President of Tongji University, made a wonderful academic report on the theme of "New Drug Research and Development: The Perspective of Basic Research". Finally, Director Jin Chunlin invited Yi Chengdong, inspector of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, Zhang Qing, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Food and Drug Administration, Xu Hong, director of the Shanghai Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, Chen Yihan, vice president of Tongji University, Chen Hong, chairman of the Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association, Tan Ming, executive vice president of the Shanghai Medical Doctor Association, and Xu Shuchang, secretary of the Party Committee of Tongji Hospital, to jointly press the start ball and announce the official launch of the "Rational Drug Use Publicity Month" in 2021.

On the morning of May 7th, Professor Lv Qianzhou of Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital served as the special chairman of the session. The first session was hosted by Professor Li Zhiping of the Children's Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, dr. Shi Kailei of Huadong Hospital of Shanghai shared the latest research express of ESH-ISH 2021, and the pharmacist of Tongji Hospital made a comprehensive intervention and drug treatment report for patients with refractory hypertension, and discussed with Dr. Shi Kailei on the medication of patients involved in the report. The second session was hosted by Professor Zhai Qing of Fudan University Affiliated Cancer Hospital, Dr. Xue Honghao of Shanghai Longhua Hospital shared the drug treatment of bronchial asthma, and pharmacist Ye Xiaofen of Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital made a report on pharmacy services in asthma treatment, and shared the valuable experience of pharmacists in guiding the use of inhaler devices. The third session was hosted by Professor Ma Yabin of Shanghai Oriental Hospital, and Dr. Yu Li of Tongji Hospital shared the latest progress in the treatment of refractory cough, followed by Luo Heng, a pharmacist at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, on how to sublimate the role of respiratory pharmacists in the era of chronic diseases.

The first session was hosted by Professor Huang Fang of Shanghai Tenth Hospital, and Dr. Wu Hongyi of Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital gave a wonderful lecture on the theme of "platelet P2Y12 receptor inhibitors - from molecular to clinical", and Gu Zhichun, a pharmacist at Renji Hospital, then shared the management of anticoagulation precision medication from an evidence-based perspective. The second session was presided over by Professor Zhang Lichao of Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Dr. Yang Fan of Shanghai Huashan Hospital made a report on the standardized β lactam antibiotic skin test under the guiding principles, and conducted in-depth analysis and explanation of the current skin test problem, and then Li Lixia, pharmacist of Shanghai Xinhua Hospital, shared a complex case of CRKP bloodstream infection and analyzed and discussed its medication ideas. The third session was hosted by Professor Tao Jianfei of Shanghai Yangsi Hospital, Dr. Chen Zhiyu of fudan University Affiliated Cancer Hospital shared the rational use of colorectal cancer in combination with his clinical experience, and Pharmacist Qian Shijing of Tongji Hospital supplemented the immunotherapy of bowel cancer on the basis of Dr. Chen Zhiyu. The second session was hosted by Professor Yuan Yi of Shanghai Putuo District Central Hospital, Dr. Guo Zhongliang of Shanghai Oriental Hospital shared the drug options for the empiric treatment of acute and chronic cough, and then Tong Shanshan, pharmacist Tong Shanshan, reported on the progress of drug treatment of chronic cough. The third session was hosted by Professor He Zhigao of Shanghai Longhua Hospital, Dr. Yu Chen of Tongji Hospital shared the precautions for hemodialysis patients, and Pharmacist Qiu Xiaoyan of Shanghai Huashan Hospital explained in detail AKD and its drug management. The fourth session was hosted by Professor Li Wenyan of Shanghai Pudong Gongli Hospital, Dr. Nie Zhiyu of Tongji Hospital shared his clinical experience in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of cardiac brain embolism, and then Tian Lulu, a pharmacist at Tongji Hospital, shared two cases of cardiac brain embolism and his thinking experience.
