In order to ensure the safety and smoothness of road traffic in the jurisdiction before the National Day holiday, and effectively prevent and reduce road traffic accidents involving motorcycles and electric vehicles in rural areas, on September 27, 2021, the traffic management brigade of the Hepu County Public Security Bureau carried out a joint rectification action of rural road traffic order in accordance with the relevant work arrangements of the county party committee, the county government and the higher-level public security organs, combined with the actual situation of the jurisdiction, and concentrated superior police forces.

At 9:30 a.m. on the same day, all the personnel on duty were concentrated in the Shikang Town Government, and the relevant leaders of the Shikang Town Government, the county public security bureau, and the responsible leaders of the traffic management brigade of the county public security bureau made work mobilization and deployment for the joint rectification operation, and demanded that the law enforcement personnel at all duty stations uniformly dress in a standardized manner, wear law enforcement recorders, standardize law enforcement, and carry out work in strict accordance with law enforcement procedures; traffic police and traffic safety counselors should cooperate with each other, strengthen propaganda and education on the lawbreakers and the surrounding masses, and create an atmosphere of high-pressure and hard-hitting rectification.
On the day of Shikang Town's polder day, the participants set up temporary duty points on the road section leading to the township's main intersection, the township market, the farmers' market, the station, and other peripheral roads, and cooperated with the government departments of Shikang Town to focus on rectifying traffic violations such as drunk driving, unlicensed and unlicensed, overdue inspection, driving motorcycles and electric vehicles without wearing safety helmets in accordance with regulations, resolutely discovering and investigating together, effectively forming a strict management posture, and resolutely eliminating potential safety hazards that cause road traffic accidents. Resolutely put serious traffic violations in place. In the joint rectification, the police on duty make full use of the role of scientific and technological equipment such as "police passes", alcohol detectors, law enforcement recorders, etc., to continuously promote the application of scientific and technological means in road control and control, and improve the supervision of road traffic conditions; traffic safety counselors strengthen the persuasion and education of local people, increase the warning of illegal behaviors such as overdue annual inspection of motorcycles and driving scrapped cars, and strive to enhance the masses' awareness of self-protection and civilized travel.
According to statistics, on the same day, a total of 50 personnel on duty were dispatched, 12 police cars, 4 temporary duty stations were set up, and 132 cases of various illegal acts were investigated and handled, including 5 cases of driving without a license and 30 vehicles temporarily detained. Through this rectification action, the road traffic violations in rural areas have been effectively curbed, which has played a deterrent and warning role for the majority of drivers, and consolidated the governance results of reducing accidents, ensuring safety and ensuring smooth traffic.
