He was also charged with "knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly" on Suspicion of participating in an illegal march on Hong Kong Island on 15 September 2019.
According to prosecutors' disclosure in court, Chan Haohuan, in the name of the "Democratic Front", held a march in Causeway Bay at 3 p.m. on September 15 near the pedestrian zone in Chater Road, Central, which was opposed by the police. However, he still went his own way, openly saying on his Facebook page that he would participate in the rally in Causeway Bay in his personal capacity and incite the public: "Everyone will gather at 2:30 East Point Road and march together to the end", claiming that "I have the right to demonstrate" and "without police approval", and saying that he is ready for arrest and is not afraid of going to jail.
As he wishes, he will pay a cruel price for his arrogance in 2019.
In court, several videos played by the prosecution, Chen Haohuan, wearing a t-shirt with the word "Hong Kong independence", was expressing his "vigor" in an interview with the media, and these videos became the evidence of his trial in court.

Yesterday (October 26) at the Eastern Magistrates' Court, Chen Haohuan, faced with pile after pile and facts, finally lowered his head and confessed to the charges, and expressed his willingness to accept the punishment of the law.
The Hong Kong rioters finally came to justice, but was this the only crime he committed?
Numerous facts have proved that Chen Haohuan's current charges are only a small part of his many crimes, and they are insignificant cases.
Earlier, Chen Haohuan, former chairman of the Democratic Party of China, Hu Zhiwei and Leung Kwok-hung, and others held a public press conference after the police opposed the "July 1st" march application last year, inciting the public to participate in the parade. Chen Haohuan was sentenced to 12 months in prison on October 7 for allegedly violating the law.

Behind Chen Haohuan, although the "People's Front" that openly announced its dissolution is the real place to hide dirt and grime. Among the successive conveners of the "Democratic Front," a large number of leading figures of the "stirring up faction" were mixed in, including Fan Guowei, Ou Nuoxuan, and others. Chen Haohuan, who is in his 20s, as the backbone of the "Social Democratic Company", was helped to the position of convener of the "Democratic Front" as a successor during the "black riot".
Up to now, although the "Democratic Front" has publicly announced its dissolution, its past crimes cannot be solved with the dissolution, and the Hong Kong police should sort out the past crimes of the organization as soon as possible and arrest and try the relevant personnel involved in the case according to law.
