Taipei, 29 Dec (Reporter Chen Xiaoxing) The widow of Mr. Koo Chun-fu, former chairman of the SEF, recently ruled that Gu Yan, the widow of Gu Chenyun, sued the Taiwan authorities against the "Ministry of the Interior." In 2017, Taiwan's "Ministry of the Interior" issued a document revoking Gu Yan and Yun's chairman of the Women's Federation, and Gu Yan And Yan Qiuyun and the Women's Federation respectively filed a complaint for harming their reputation and right of association. For the verdict of defeat, Lei Qian, the current chairman of the Women's Federation, said that she would appeal.
The "Improper Party Property Committee" set up by the DPP authorities designated the property of the Women's Federation as "improper property," and Gu Yan, who was the chairman of the committee at the time, was removed for refusing to sign documents on documents such as donating 90 percent of the assets and appointing 1/3 of the directors by the Taiwan authorities to foundations sponsored by the Women's Federation. According to the current laws and regulations of the Taiwan authorities, if the information is not provided as required, the Women's Federation will be dissolved.
Founded by Song Meiling, the Women's Federation was committed to serving military personnel and caring for military dependents in the early days, and later expanded to serve social welfare.
