This is the owner's second home in Kojhec, Patagonia, Chile, situated on the Simpson River, on the outskirts of the city, just 1.5 km from the city centre.

The project consists of a large space consisting of a master living room, open plan kitchen, one en-suite and 6 capsule cabins, and an en-suite bathroom. The second floor contains an expansive floor plan space with access to a balcony.

The house maintains the traditional architectural style of southern Chile and can cope with the harsh cold of winter, as well as rain and snow. Taking into account these climatic conditions and the materials used in the house, the architects decided to raise the entire building at a distance from the ground.

On the other hand, the limited budget coupled with the limitations of scarce labor and technical levels led to the formation of a simple shed type design, without the need for special construction details, all based on local pine materials, with grooved plywood inside and covered with galvanized sheet on the outside.

The building's shell is tightly covered with a layer of metal plates (galvanized steel sheets), and when the doors and windows are opened, standing on the wooden terrace can enjoy the view of Maiji Mountain and the great river. The interior of the building is made entirely of wood, like a large table, and it is possible to sit on the stairs and rest, or to use the terrace as a second dining room.
