In order to better promote the rapid development of rural areas in the new era and enrich the cultural connotation of spiritual civilization construction, on October 26, the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch of the People's Cultural Center of Jian'an District of Xuchang City was officially inaugurated. Under the guidance of Xuchang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and other relevant departments, the museum was founded by Hu Xiaozhou, a famous calligrapher from Xuchang. On the morning of the same day, Zhang Hongyang, deputy director of the Xuchang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and more than 20 leaders of relevant departments and people from literary and art circles were invited to attend the event.
At the unveiling ceremony, Hu Xiaozhou welcomed everyone's arrival, he said, "Thanks to the help of the leaders of relevant departments and the support of the neighbors, the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch Museum has begun to take shape, and in the next step, it will continue to exert efforts in strict accordance with the requirements of the cultural authorities, add new vitality to the development of rural cultural undertakings in Xuchang City, better meet the basic cultural needs of the rural masses, and strive to make the branch museum a new highlight of the culture of Jian'an District." ”
It is understood that Hu Xiaozhou, as a famous calligrapher of China's powerful school, has the title of "one of the six strange masters of Chinese calligraphy", especially good at three calligraphy skills of hollow stroke, right hand reverse book, and two-handed calligraphy, and his calligraphy works have gone abroad many times, highlighting the infinite charm of Chinese calligraphy art.
At the scene of the event, bursts of applause sounded, the red cloth fell off, and the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch of the People's Cultural Center of Jian'an District of Xuchang City was officially opened in the expectation of everyone. Zhang Hongyang, deputy director of the Xuchang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, said, "The establishment of the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch of the People's Cultural Center of Jian'an District of Xuchang City is a happy event in the cultural and artistic circles of Jian'an District, a major event in the development of social undertakings in Jian'an District, and another fruitful result in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization on the basis of the tremendous achievements made in economic construction in Jian'an District. Next, I sincerely hope that the calligraphy and painting artists represented by Hu Xiaozhou will create more artistic masterpieces and provide strong artistic support for the prosperity of calligraphy and painting art in Jian'an District and the expansion of cultural industries. ”
At the ceremony, the Xuchang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism donated more than 3,000 books to the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch.
"In the future, we can use this place to carry out some exhibitions and exchange activities, and through Mr. Hu Xiaozhou's exquisite calligraphy skills, we will continue to cultivate more calligraphers, make the cultural undertakings in Jian'an District more prosperous, and build the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch Museum into a cultural business card in Jian'an District and even Xuchang City." Zhang Hongyang, deputy director of the Xuchang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, said that the opening of the Pohu Calligraphy and Painting Branch Museum will provide a better place for the exchange of calligraphy and painting creation.
After the opening ceremony, the participants visited more than 20 calligraphy works such as the hollow stroke "Hai Na Bai Chuan" exhibited in the museum. It is reported that the works on display are all fine calligraphy works created by Hu Xiaozhou in recent years. Hu Xiaozhou said that in the next step, we will continue to invite outstanding calligraphers to come and make contributions to the development of rural cultural undertakings in Jian'an District.
