Marc Zaro is the first martial arts action star in the history of Chilean and even Latin American cinema, and has worked as a stuntman in Hollywood. His mother was a karate instructor who was influenced by her to love martial arts since childhood and gained the black belt of karate and taekwondo. At the age of 18, Mark won the national championships in karate and taekwondo and entered the Chilean national team to train. He moved to Los Angeles in 1999, where he brushed dishes and worked as a waiter in a restaurant, eventually becoming famous for working as a stand-in for Dwayne Johnson in Jungle Jungle, where he won the Hollywood Stunt Awards. After that, he returned to Chile to shoot films tailored for him, such as "Dog", "Chilean Superman" and "Chinese Moves", ushering in a new era of Chilean action films.
