On the morning of August 21, the 21st Academic Symposium on Chinese Phonology and the 16th International Symposium on Chinese Phonology opened in Chengdu. According to the current epidemic prevention and control situation, the seminar held on the 21st and 22nd adopted the method of online conference and the combination of online and offline. More than 200 experts and professors from more than 110 universities (units) at home and abroad submitted their papers to the conference, and 430 scholars participated in the meeting and listened to the conference in the form of videos online.
