
Deng Servant
Deng Shu was born on January 15, 1926 in Zhaojiawobao Village, Ci'en Temple Township, Faku County. When he was a teenager, he studied in elementary and middle schools in his hometown.
He joined the revolutionary work in March 1948 and joined the Communist Party of China in September 1949. From March 1948 to March 1949, he worked as a financial and grain assistant in Chengguan District, Faku County. From April 1949 to October 1952, he served as the chief of the production unit and the deputy chief of the civil affairs section in the people's government of Faku County. From November 1952 to July 1954, he served as the secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission in Liaoxi Province. From August 1954 to December 1956, he worked as a researcher at the Political and Legal Affairs Office of Liaoning Province. From January 1957 to April 1963, he served as deputy section chief and deputy director of the Department of Civil Affairs of Liaoning Province. From May 1963 to January 1968, he served as a department-level inspector in the Organization Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee. From November 1968 to December 1969, he worked at the "May Seventh" cadre school in Panjin.
From December 1969 to November 1977, he settled in Qaraqin Banner of Zhaowuda League (now part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) in Liaoning Province, and served as deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Yongfeng Commune of Qaraqin Banner and deputy director of the Flag Post and Telecommunications Bureau. From November 1977 to April 1985, Deng Wei served as deputy director and director of the Organization Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee. He retired in May 1985 and became a retired cadre at the deputy department and bureau level.
Zhang Guoquan
Zhang Guoquan, born in January 1926, is a native of Yangjiagou, Faku County. He joined the Northeast People's Liberation Army in 1947 and joined the Communist Party of China in February 1949. From 1947 to 1987, he successively served as squad leader, deputy platoon leader, chief of the political engineering section of the Armed Forces Department of Shaoguan City, deputy director of the Tieling County Grain Bureau, and deputy director of the Animal Husbandry Bureau. He retired in 1987.
In January 1949, Zhang Guoquan was awarded the first class merit in the campaign against Tianjin, and was awarded a "bravery" medal of the Fourth Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and was awarded the honorary title of "Hero of Explosion". In 1950, in the battle against bandits in Guangxi, Zhang Guoquan successively captured 7 bandits alive, and the class he led was collectively credited with great merit once and won the honorary title of "Model Class of Bandit Suppression".
In the Liaoshen Campaign, the Pingjin Campaign, the Battle of Crossing the River and the Campaign against Bandits, Zhang Guoquan made 3 major meritorious deeds and 2 minor meritorious deeds, and won 2 military merit medals and 5 commemorative medals.
