Deputy Director Chen Yuzhou first introduced the basic situation of the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University. Tongji University began its economics and management education in 1956 and is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in China to offer such professional education. In 1984, the Faculty of Economics and Management was established, and in 1998 it merged with the Faculty of Business to form the Faculty of Economics and Management. At present, the college has become a full member of AACSB, EFMD, AMBA and PRME, and has obtained AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA, CAMEA, PMI-GAC and other international authoritative certifications, accumulated rich experience in the international certification process, and its advanced educational philosophy and management mechanism are an important guarantee for maintaining a good momentum of development.
On behalf of the college, Vice Dean Fang Hui introduced the basic situation of the Sydney Business School of Shanghai University and elaborated on the current situation of postgraduate training management of our college. The school passed the AACSB accreditation in 2020, becoming one of the few Sino-foreign cooperative business schools in China to receive this accreditation. At present, the college is actively promoting the accreditation of the graduate program AACBS. Subsequently, the participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the specific details of the AOL system and postgraduate research management of the postgraduate program in the AACSB certification.
This exchange and learning will better promote the AACSB certification of the graduate program of the college, and in the future, the college will conduct more in-depth exchanges and cooperation with sister institutions, continuously improve and continuously improve the quality of graduate training.
