Young to fame
Compared with other CCTV hosts in the same period, Zhu Xun can be said to have "become famous at a young age".
His parents were well educated, his father was one of the first foreign correspondents of Xinhua News Agency, and the young Zhu Xun could speak the Tao and was very talented in hosting.
In 1987, at the age of 14, Zhu Xun was selected as the small host of CCTV's "Our Generation".
Because of her outstanding performance in the show, the following year, she was favored by director Tian Zhuangzhuang and starred in the movie "Rock 'n' Roll Youth".
This movie gave Zhu Xun, who was still in high school, taste famous for the first time.

Tough path to school
Adhering to the concept of "earning money and relying on himself", Zhu Xun, who went abroad for the first time, soon faced a problem related to survival: no money.
At that time, the gap between China and Japan was still very large, and Japan's food, clothing, housing and tuition fees were almost sky-high for Zhu Xun.
In order to survive, Zhu Xun began to look for a part-time job in Japan.
The first job Zhu Xun, who has no academic qualifications and does not speak the language, found was to clean all the toilets on the 1st floor to the 18th floor with a Japanese elder sister in her 40s.
Zhu Xun, who has never suffered since childhood, has done this kind of work, but in a foreign country, he has to do it in order to survive.
Once, when Zhu Xun was cleaning the toilet, a rich lady in a kimono slipped because she did not pay attention to the water on the ground.
Although Zhu Xun hugged her legs so that she did not fall, the water stains on the rubber gloves soiled her kimono.
The eldest sister who worked with Zhu Xun was extremely frightened, and quickly bowed and apologized, wearing dirty gloves that had just been brushed on the toilet and pressing Zhu Xun's head to ask her to apologize.
Although Mrs. Fu did not pursue it later, this incident caused a great psychological shadow to Zhu Xun.
Years later she described the experience in her autobiography, saying:
"Thank you for the different smells that life gives me, including stinks."
In this way, Zhu Xun worked part-time and studied at the same time, busy from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., and slept no more than 4 hours a day.
Finally, her body lit up with a red light, and after a tired fall, she was checked for a hemangioma.
In order to save money, Zhu Xun chose to be treated in a small private hospital.
But some money really can not be saved, this operation did not cure Zhu Xun's disease, because the removal is not clean, the wound can not be healed for a long time, helplessly can only go to the big hospital for a second operation.
Two surgeries cost Zhu Xun's little savings.
For the tuition fees in the second half of the year, the surgical wound has not yet fully healed, and Zhu Xun has begun to work again to earn money.

Going to school and doing odd jobs lasted until 1993.
On the recommendation of a friend, Zhu Xun was interviewed by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Association).
With her experience in hosting and performing in China, she was able to preside over the work of "Chinese Lectures".
At that time, China's international status was gradually rising with the economic take-off, and Zhu Xun did this program that taught Chinese for 6 years.
During this period, she signed a contract with the agency of Wang Zuxian and Chen Huilin, hosted programs such as "Asian Song Scene", "Tonight", "China-Japan Song Club" and became the only Chinese mainland girl in the mainstream media in Japan.

Zhu Xun signed up and was admitted to the program group with the first place.

Life is not afraid to start from scratch
In 2007, during a routine physical examination, Zhu Xun was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor because of the risk of losing his voice due to surgery next to the vocal cords.

After his body recovered, Zhu Xun immediately returned to the stage, from "Zhengda Variety" to "Avenue of Stars", all the way to the stage of the Spring Festival Gala.
On the eve of the Spring Festival Gala in 2017, the news of Zhu Xun's cancer again was somehow reported on the Internet, and there were even rumors that she died of cancer.
She was busy at work at the time, but she only responded with one sentence:
"Only if you live well, if you don't live to be ninety years old, are sorry for the rumor-mongers."
Zhu Xun has a strength in her body, so that every time she faces a difficult situation, she can rebound to a higher height.
