Confucius said, "The nature of all things in heaven and earth is the most precious thing for man." Among the various acts of man, there is no greater than filial piety; among all kinds of filial piety, there is no greater than the worship of the Father; all kinds of honoring the Father, there is no greater than the heavens, that is, respecting the Father and respecting the heavens, which is exactly what the Duke of Zhou did. The way of fatherly kindness and filial piety is human nature, and the righteousness of the king's benevolence and respect is contained in it. Parents have children, and the great grace of passing on the lifeline is unparalleled; the monarch is like a father, and the virtue of knowing the courtiers is unparalleled in the world. Therefore, those who do not love their own relatives but love others are called perverts; those who do not respect their own parents and go to respect other people's parents are called disobedience. Let the filial son imitate the contrarian son, and the people will have no code of conduct. What is done is so bad, it is all bad, even if you get a little cheap, the gentleman will not value it. The gentleman's approach is different, he must consider how to say something, his behavior must consider how pleasant, his own quality must be respected, the way of doing things must become a model, the manners and demeanor must be pleasing to the eye, and the upper dynasty and the retreat must abide by the etiquette, so as to influence people and drive people.
