Api Reading Ancient Poems: And Lotte Spring Words (Tang: Liu Yuxi)

author:Good morning Api

"He Lotte Spring Words" is a Poem written by the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi for his friend Bai Juyi's "Spring Words". The poem describes a palace lady who puts on new makeup but is not appreciated, and can only count the flowers alone in boredom to relieve boredom, causing dragonflies to fly up to the head. The whole poem is lyrical about the palace grievances, but it is very different from other similar poems. Through the portrayal of the goddess of the palace, the poet shows her feelings of resentment. Poetic and original, full of charm.
