Recently, the Zhangjiagang police have deeply promoted the "reunion plan" of the Ministry of Public Security and successfully helped a deaf-mute woman who has been away from home for 32 years to return to her family.
At the end of June this year, the Zhangjiagang police received a clue that Gao Mou, a deaf-mute woman at the Lu'an Aid Station in Anhui Province, may be related to a family surnamed Song in Deji Street, Zhangjiagang City, and needs police help to verify. According to the information provided by the aid station, the police quickly rushed to Deji Street to visit the scene, but found that the original address had been demolished. After contacting the village committee and visiting the surrounding masses, the police finally found the Song family in Chaonan Village.
It is understood that the Song family lost the daughter of the third in line 32 years ago, and is a deaf and mute, which is consistent with Gao in the rescue station. On July 9, after the police came to the Song family to explain their intentions, the Song family was very excited and actively cooperated with the police to collect DNA information. On September 9, the police reviewed and compared and confirmed that the deaf and mute Gao was the missing daughter of the Song family.
Subsequently, a simple but warm recognition ceremony was held in Chaonan Village, where the three brothers and sisters of the Song family supported their 83-year-old mother and looked forward to their 32-year-old daughter. Accompanied by the staff of the Anhui Lu'an Aid Station, Gao appeared in front of the Song family, and the long-lost hug was full of reunion joy.
Later, it was learned that 32 years ago, the third sister of the Song family, who was 19 years old at the time, left home and did not know the end. In the past few years, the Song family has never stopped searching, and the Father of the Song family still remembers his daughter who left home before his death. After waiting for 32 years, the third sister finally returned home as Gao with the help of the police.
According to the staff of the aid station, in 2016, the station rescued a wandering deaf-mute woman. Unable to obtain identity information, the aid station issued a search notice, but did not receive a response. In 2018, the rescue station settled in the name of Gao. At present, Gao has changed back to his original name Song and returned to the embrace of his family.
