Separated for 31 years, the mother and son in Sichuan were reunited

"Son, my mother has been looking for you for more than thirty years, and today I finally saw you, and your father in heaven knows that our family is reunited, and he is also blind..."

"Mom, don't cry, all these years, I miss you, think so hard, today I came back, in the future, I want to take good care of you....."

Recently, at the Public Security Bureau of Mabian Yi Autonomous County in Leshan City, Cheng Xuezhi, a 69-year-old villager in Xiaxi Town, Mabian Yi Autonomous County, and Xu Moumou, a 31-year-old son, hugged each other tightly, and the gushing tears touched everyone present.

Separated for 31 years, the mother and son in Sichuan were reunited

31 years ago, Cheng Xuezhi took his 2-year-old son to Xiaxi Town to catch a market as usual, but his son was lost in the town. Cheng Xuezhi's family traveled throughout most of China, traveling to Chengdu, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Baoqing, Xi'an and other places to look for children, but never found the whereabouts of the children.

Worry, fear, and thought have become cheng Xuezhi's heart knots, and they have also deeply touched the heart of Mabian public security. The police set up a special team to quickly and comprehensively verify, comb through the missing abducted women and children in Mabian County, collect blood sample DNA from their families, and compare them in the database of the Ministry of Public Security. Finally, in the national abduction information database, it was found that the DNA data of Xu Moumou in Jiangsu Province was highly matched with the "strong" DNA data of missing children in Mabian County.

After obtaining the clue, the police handling the case immediately rushed to Jiangsu, and through a large number of DNA data comparison and visit investigation, it was finally confirmed that Xu Moumou in Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province, was the son that Cheng Xuezhi was looking for.

It is reported that Cheng Xuezhi has 3 children under his knees, and it is the younger son who is lost. After years of fruitless search for a child, her husband Peng Jiwan died in 2006 with regrets. Finding their separated relatives, Cheng Xuezhi's family ate a happy reunion dinner. (Pictured by Leshan Police)
