In 2004, a movie reflecting the Korean civil war "Taiji Flag Flying" was released, many people said that it was good, and said that it reflected the invincible lens of the volunteer army, I originally had no feeling for Korean movies, listened to this sentence, came to be interested, especially wanted to see, because I am a military fan, I want to see, foreigners react to the invincible shot of our most lovely people.
The result was a happy and disappointed return. Because this movie saw the so-called invincible shots in the eyes of others that I have been haunting for nearly two decades, as shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1

Seeing this shot, how can I not be associated with the two words of invincibility in my heart, my impression is "brainless", look at this shot, the soldiers roaming the mountains, the scene seems to be very large, but under close inspection, there are many loopholes, so dense personnel, red flags are everywhere, is this a suspected goal is not clear enough? The few people closest to the camera do not even have guns in their hands, and several people seem to be holding wooden sticks, what do they want to express? To sum up, relying on the "man-sea tactic" to hold a wooden stick in his hand, fighting with the UN army armed to the teeth, and using the most primitive and brainless tactics to meet the powerful firepower, the so-called serious nonsense is nothing more than this! What is even more infuriating is that such an obvious dress gang, in the eyes of some Chinese people, is actually a "good movie" that reflects the invincibility of the volunteer soldiers!!
Since then, I have not felt the "Korean Wave", and I have never watched Korean movies since then.
With the growth of domestic film and television drama production capabilities in recent years, I was also very much looking forward to seeing a good movie that could truly reflect the bravery and good fighting of the volunteer army. However, I basically waited for disappointment. Foreigners' views on the volunteer army may also be explained by the protagonist's rendering needs, incomplete information, and incorrect understanding, but similar scenes have appeared in the Chinese people's own film and television dramas (Figure 2), how to explain? It can only be said that a considerable number of Chinese people have misunderstood the direction of understanding the bravery and fearlessness of the volunteer army, and the scene in Figure II can reflect the heroism and fearlessness of the volunteer soldiers? Absolutely not, such a way of expression will only distort "heroism"!
Figure 2
Maybe you really can't blame everyone, after all, you can't ask everyone to be a military fan.
So is this really how the Volunteers fought? Facts speak louder than words! Look at this picture.
Figure 3
In this picture, the offensive forces of a platoon of my volunteer soldiers are divided into combat groups, firepower groups, command groups, and sharpshooters (or the modern popular two-man sniper group, one person observing, one shooting). What do you think? Is it very different from what many people think of as a charge?
Let's take another look at the evaluation of the strongest opponent in the Korean battlefield at that time. U.S. Marine Corps historical records say: Chinese rarely attack with the strength of a regiment at a time... The Chinese army is awe-inspiring, not because of their large numbers, but because they are good at using deceptive tactics and the suddenness of the attack, and in the book "Korea, Our First Defeat", it is believed that although there are many statements about the use of "man-sea tactics" by Chinese and the storming of American positions with a large number of troops, what scares people is not the concentrated attack of the Chinese, but their feints, surprise attacks, and quiet infiltration tactics at night.
Chinese did engage in offensive operations in platoons, occupying their carefully chosen tactical positions with superior forces in order to make decisive penetrations, but these were usually intended to contain the enemy's defensive forces, while other Chinese forces attacked from the flanks and set up barricades behind them.
Seeing the evaluation of these enemies, think about whether our volunteer army can fight like Figure I and Figure II. Never!
Sometimes I worry from the bottom of my heart, the real history of these heroes of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, I am a military fan, I know, but many people do not know, what to do? Therefore, I have always hoped that there will be a movie about the volunteer army, which can truly restore the historical truth of that period, eliminate everyone's stereotypes, and make the volunteer army more colorful.
At this time, "Chosin Lake" was released, watching the whole process of the film, my blood boiled, when I played the footage of "Ice Sculpture Company", I and the people around me were in tears, at this time, in my heart, I was extremely excited, finally, finally waited for you, everyone knows this history, we all know the true heroic and fearless image of the martyrs. Finally, I can say to all the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country from the bottom of our hearts, and our descendants have not forgotten you.
04 years to now, 17 years have passed, is the time short? Not short, a generation has grown up. Is it a long time? Not long! Millennium black room, a light is on! As long as we have patriotic feelings in our hearts and fear the beacon of martyrs, that real history will never be forgotten or misunderstood!
On the occasion of the National Day, I would like to say that the martyrs exchanged their blood and lives for our lives today, and while we are grateful, we must have a sense of responsibility and continue to protect the future generations with hard work and strength!
