"Red Notice personnel" Qiang Tao and Li Jiandong were repatriated to China
Beijing, 2 Jun (People's Daily Online) -- On 31 May, under the overall coordination of the International Fugitive Recovery Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group, and through the solid work of the Ministry of Public Security, the Shanxi Provincial Fugitive Pursuit Office, and the public security organs, "red notice personnel" Qiang Tao and Li Jiandong were arrested in Myanmar and repatriated to China.
Qiang Tao, male, born in August 1990, is an accountant of the East China Branch of the Capital Center of the 12th Bureau of China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd., suspected of taking advantage of his position to collude with Li Jiandong to embezzle a huge amount of funds from the company. Qiang Tao and Li Jiandong absconded on March 3 this year. The Central Fugitive Pursuit Office listed the case as a key supervision case, coordinated all aspects of the force to carry out the pursuit of fugitives and stolen goods, issued a red notice through Interpol, and China's public security organs and Myanmar law enforcement agencies worked together to arrest and repatriate the two in a relatively short period of time.
The person in charge of the Central Fugitive Pursuit Office said that as a financial officer of a state-owned enterprise, Qiang Tao took advantage of his position to collude with Li Jiandong to encroach on a huge amount of state-owned property and flee, and the impact was very bad.
