From wafer to chip, precision cutting and grinding can be realized

Accuracy up to 0.5 microns

Yilutong is "a grinding and cutting method for low-channel array waveguide grating wavelength division multiplexer chip", and has won the "High Value Intellectual Property Intelligent Product Innovation and Creativity Competition" Excellence Award.

Zhang Xiangbo introduced that this process method with high technical threshold is one of the "unique skills" of Yilutong, and the company can grind and polish the millimeter-level chip under the microscope, the processing accuracy can reach 0.5 microns, and can simultaneously realize the microcrack and angle detection of multiple single chip end faces, which can improve the detection efficiency.

He introduced that according to the special process, enterprises can cover the surface of the silicon chip with protective glass cover when grinding the chip, reducing the defective rate of chipping edges and cracks during the grinding process.

It is understood that the company independently developed 84 sets of PLC automatic coupling system, with the ability to independently cut, grind, polish, couple and test from wafer to chip.

"Before 2017, the products we made were big and complete, others could do but didn't do, we did, but after 2017, we changed the development of the enterprise, we did what others could not do, others could do but did not do well, and began to do what they were good at." Zhang Xiangbo introduced that the enterprise is good at the accumulation of process technology, but there are shortcomings in the design of technical theory, in order to supplement the chain, the company cooperates with 11 national key 985 and 211 universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Hubei University of Technology to promote the strengths and avoid the shortcomings in scientific research and platform construction, practice internal skills, and be more specialized and refined.

Chip-type planar waveguide device is the fist product of Yilutong, since 2017, the company's PLC products have successively obtained the world-renowned Bell Communication Research Institute issued the optical communication components reliability test certification certificate, the European Union product safety certification (CE certification) certificate, the world's largest operator Verizon VZ.TPR.9427 & 9405 certification, which are considered to be the market economy "letter of credit" and international trade "pass".

Enterprises increase research and development, 15% are R & D personnel, there is no lack of master's and doctoral teams from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan University of Technology, the average annual R & D investment accounts for more than 10% of sales revenue, and maintain the frequency of 2 to 3 new products launched every year, the company's research and development of AWG-Mux, Demux shipments have ranked first in the country.

Zhang Xiangbo revealed that a communication giant needs a material purchased from overseas, there is a supply chain risk, and turned to Yilutong to buy, finding a safe and stable raw material upstream in China.

This new FA fiber array product, in the preparation process, needs to be through ultra-precision machining technology to accurately locate the fiber core in the V-shaped slot to reduce the connection loss, and design a special process to bend the fiber horizontally to vertical direction at different angles, with a high technical threshold. Yilutong has advanced FA assembly production line and passive coupling production line, and the company has a number of patented technologies in the research and development of FA products.

Zhang Xiangbo introduced that the new product of THE FA optical fiber array used in the communication backbone network is less than 10,000 pieces per year, but once the supply is cut off, it will cause network paralysis, which is the key to the "minority".

In addition, enterprises continue to get involved in the field of intelligent Internet of Things, data center high-speed modules, unmanned laser radar and other technologies involving chip-related materials, enterprises have developed the corresponding design lines, and have patents.

Zhang Xiangbo introduced, patents are the only lifeblood of the commercialization of research results, the development of the global market makes enterprises begin to realize the importance of patented technology, brands, trade secrets and other intangible assets, in addition to having more than 90 domestic patents, enterprises pay attention to overseas patent layout, fully grasp the most core patent technology in the field of devices, firmly build competitive barriers, and have 4 international patents.
