Jufu Building is a famous Lu restaurant in Qingdao, together with Chunhe Building and Shunxing Building, known as the "Three Buildings" of Island City, located at No. 30, Taidong Commercial Center, Taidong East and West 2nd Road. At that time, as long as we talked about it, no one knew it, and no one knew it.
In 1924, Wu Ziyu and Gao Xue of Fushan, Shandong Province, rented the building of the late Qing Dynasty's widow Wang Xu at No. 12 Jimo Road and opened the "Jufu Building", which means "Judafu Dagui is in this building". The hired chef is a master of Fushan County, the hometown of cooking, the dishes are exquisite in selection, the chef is exquisite in knife work, known for cooking shark fin, sea cucumber, bird's nest, etc., as well as braised jiaji fish, pepper oil spinach, milk soup cauliflower, Xi Shi tongue and other Jiaodong flavor dishes, extremely attractive. Jufulou's broth is quite famous, and it is generally only used for broth and less other condiments on the whole table.
As the prime minister of puppet Manchukuo, Zheng Xiaoxu traveled to Andromeda many times, and when Zheng Xiaoxu was in Qingdao, he often met in ChunheLou in the early days, and mainly had dinner in Jufulou in the later period. Wu Ziyu, the owner of Jufu Building, knew Zheng Xiang, and Zheng Xiaoxu wrote a couplet to Jufu Lou: "Drive to try Jimo Road, drink alcohol must climb Jufu Lou" (also known as: "Drive a car to pass Through Jimo Road, buy drunk and have to climb Jufu Lou." Also: "Drive through Jimo Road, and look for drunken people to climb the Jufu Building." ”）。 After the inscription was completed, the whole audience was amazed, and Wu Ziyu hung the couplet in the shop. However, the content of the book has not yet been seen in the true handwriting, and it is not known whether it is a legend of later generations.
Because JufuLou has always used the credit method to attract customers in its operation, deliver food to nearby business households, and sometimes send chefs to bring cooking utensils out to serve, these convenient practices have won the prosperity of Jufulou's business; in the interior, pay attention to streamlining personnel, in addition to the manager, the chief chef, only one internal and external accountant, so in the 30s and 40s reached the heyday of Jufulou.

In 1943, Jufu Building caused a fire due to cigarette butts, and had no choice but to move to No. 30, Taidongxi 2nd Road, Taidongxi 2nd Road Shop, originally a Dongsheng restaurant operated by Haoshen of Dongzhen, because it had been closed for more than a year, The operator of Jufu Building rented a shop and opened a JufuLou Dongji. In that year, a new building was rebuilt on the original site of Jimo Road, the room area was doubled, and the business scope was expanded accordingly after the reopening, echoing the East and West of Dongji, and the popularity far exceeded that of other restaurants of comparable size.
After 1949, the West Number of Jimo Road was closed, and the East Ji was named Jufu Building, but this number was gradually forgotten, and it was later converted into a residential house, and now there is no trace of any restaurant. Due to the shortage of funds, most of its equity was purchased by Lanjingshan, which became the majority shareholder and changed its name to "Taitung Hotel".
According to Yu Xiangyang, both the Jufu Building and the XinhuaLou Bathhouse in Taitung were opened by the capitalist Lan Jingshan, who was suppressed by the people's government after liberation for colluding with the Japanese to oppress the people and commit the most heinous crime of raping women.
The name Lanjingshan has not been found on the Internet, only the name of Luan Jingshan, the first prostitute in the old Qingdao, Yu Chunting (Yu Xiaojiao), is similar. Luan Jingshan, that is, the famous hooligan "Luan Big Duck" in Qingdao at that time, he was the sister-in-law of Yu Xiaozu, who opened a bath pond in Dongzhen and served as a pseudo -"president of the Taitung Chamber of Commerce". On June 2, 1950, Luan Jingshan, who was full of evil, was sentenced to death by the people's government together with Yu Xiaojiao, and was shot at Fort No. 5 (now in the courtyard of the Foundry Machinery Factory), ending his life of sin.
In 1983, Jufu Building was renovated and expanded, and the store looked new, with a business area of 2,000 square meters and could accommodate more than 500 people at the same time. The first floor is a mid-range fast food department, and the second and third floors are equipped with private seats and multi-functional halls to arrange festive banquets. In order to receive Chinese and foreign guests, there is a reception room, and decorated with the more luxurious Jufu Hall, Julu Hall, Juxian Hall, Jubao Hall, Juxin Hall, Juyi Hall, Jubin Hall, etc., and then renamed JufuLou Hotel. In 1988, a branch was established in Sifang District.
After decades of operation, Jufu Building has formed its own business characteristics. The shop inherits and constantly enriches Lu cuisine, is known for its refined seafood, is good at "bursting, frying, grilling and steaming", has a light taste, and strives to preserve the fresh flavor of seafood raw materials. Traditional dishes include assorted small tofu, sugar crisp balls, clear soup family portrait, sherry crab leg, corn grilled abalone, stuffed shiitake mushroom grilled scallops and other dishes, as well as flower dumplings, Mandarin duck crisp, magnolia crisp, autumn leaf cake and other pastries. Some of the dishes operated by the shop have won many awards in provincial and municipal competitions.
In 1987, in the Qingdao Commercial System Famous Dishes, Famous Spots, Famous Food Grand Prix, the iconic figure of Jufu Lou, the famous chef Fei Hongyuan, made asparagus grilled abalone, hanging frost balls was rated as Qingdao Top Ten Famous Dishes Award.
At that time, customers left messages calling them "enthusiastic service, exquisite technology, authentic Lu cuisine, worthy of the name". At the end of 1997, there were fixed assets of 1.03 million yuan, annual turnover of 5 million yuan, profits and taxes of 600,000 yuan.

In 1998, Jufu Building was included in the Taitung District Government's Taitung Third Road Demolition and Renovation Project, and the original site was demolished and has been closed until now. The old store, once one of the "three famous buildings" in Qingdao's catering industry, has finally disappeared into the past clouds of bustling Taitung due to urban transformation. Although many years have passed, many old Qingdao will still miss this century-old store from time to time.
